  1. 250 watts...meh 2 amp charging now I'm interested.
  2. I used 1.1mm stainless steal wire at 24 inches .44 ohms in a single vertical loop. You can get it at hobby stores as picture hanging wire. It looked like an old UHF TV antenna. It barely warmed up at all.
  3. no, it will just be a little cooler. the wire just won't heat up as much under load.
  4. sure, that is what I used.
  5. Thanks, that is better performance than I'm seeing out of my Zippy Compact 1300. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread
  6. Have you run the batt analyzer on the glacier lipo yet What kind of time are you getting out of it?
  7. Battery size specs are 68mm x 30mm x 20mm. Couldn't find one at hobbyking over 1000 mah and I don't know how much extra room you have. Good luck finding a replacement.
  8. That is what I'm understanding from the RC sites. I get 10.8 watt hours out of my 1300 mah batt. which comes out to 75%.
  9. You only get to use 75% of the battery rating. The DNA 200 only allows you to discharge to 3 volts. 75% of 14.43 watt hours is 10.8 watt hours
  10. Most USB cables that come with devices are meant for charging only and don't have the data lines installed.
  11. Looking at the milling around the 510, I don't think its a wrap. I'm drooling on my keyboard.
  12. Yep, ya gotta watch out for those charging cables.
  13. I think all they would need to do is swap Temp change mode with the profile select mode. Power lock, double click to enter change temp. Maybe hold Up and Down to change temp in case of accidental presses. It should be doable. I think it is hard to figure out what functions the users would use more often and keeping continuity across the product lines is the reason for the current button set up.
  14. so far I have found that week vapes in TC are usually caused by poor connections. Tightening the screws holding the coils clears it up. Try cleaning the 510 threads and the internal wick treads also look at cleaning the 510 pin inside the atomizer. I hope this helps.
  15. Thanks, wanted to get the cover with the switches out of the way while working on it. Mounting the screen on the bottom was easier than trying to align it to the switch cover. Also, the screen doesn't shine in your face during use.
  16. Finished mine the other day. Finally getting around to posting. Ran into a couple minor glitches. I learned a lot about building Mods on this one unlike the sx350 I built last year. I call it the VIN ( vape it now ) version 2. I was planning to try larger batteries in it if needed but will have to move the 510 connection to do so. That will likely be the version 3. Eventually I will build a permanent case for it. I am still working on the design and getting the tools. needed to clean my lens
  17. Had a .51 316L that worked great at 26w and 390f with 100w preheat and punch of 1.
  18. Nice looking mods there people. I need to go back in time to start mine. Delivery on Sept 5 according to USPS so I'll have to build a time machine to get it. Actually those fine people at the post office sent it to Kansas City. Hope to get started on Wednesday if they don't misdirect it again.
