  4. James, I tried and it doesn't matter, I tried different setting all no go. BTW if you try to go below 5 seconds the pop-up comes up and says I tried pushing all the buttons and it doesn't matter, but one thing I did notice, if you hit Pause then release it after a couple seconds, straight lines appear part way across the screen coming from the way points. But then it goes back to the way point reading just jumping on the right edge of the screen. Here's info on my computer, hope this helps.
  5. If you've put all your eggs in one basket as a small business mod builder while watching what China has been offering the market over the years then you've kidded yourself thinking your business platform would always be stable. There will always be a market for high end customer builds for those with deeper pockets so I don't know if you should worry that much but you when in business you should always be looking ahead, one of the reasons I've always gotten a kick out of the trademark name Evolv! Look at the other side of the coin, Evolv changed the game with their brilliant ideas, look how TC has changed vaping, making it safer. All while we are under the microscope of those who want to ban vaping and return the cash flow to big tobacco. Vaping saved my life, if safer vaping can be made available to those like me who struggle week to week, paycheck to paycheck and save lives, that's huge in my book. My hat off to Evlov for all they have done, I'll be a customer for life, so long as I can afford it.
  6. Thanks to you! You get the credit, I stole your ideas!
  7. I used this 1000mAh from Hobby King, I could have gone with a little larger battery for this box but I pulled the trigger early on while waiting for the boards and before doing in depth research. I figured I better order "something" in case there was a mad dash and batteries were suddenly hard to find, ended up they over sold and it got back ordered for a month anyways LoL. I repeatedly requested HK cancel the order because I bought a Flight Power while waiting but they sent it anyways. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__11901__Turnigy_nano_tech_1000mah_3S_25_50C_Lipo_Pack.html
  8. I did something similar but I used square aluminum tubing, I made my posts .195 long, this is the tubing I picked up at the local RC shop Stock# 83010 http://ksmetals.com/25.html The screws came from old hard drives I stripped down and salvaged the magnets from, the screws held the little pc boards of the HD's and are in varying length, all measure .065 or 1.65mm diameter. These self threading screws bite into the four sides of the tubing and you can hold onto a square easier then a round tube when tightening the screws. I used three screws from the back side of the board to hold the posts to the board then three more screws through the face of the mod into the posts. This is a Hammond 1590G I straighten the sides and corners on, I'll also include the pic of the 3M double sided tape I used to mount the screen, this is the tape they use to glue the screen's on ipod's, it works very well and is cheap on amazon. NOTE: I wouldn't trust this setup as the only ground for the board, chassis and 510, I soldered both the 510 and battery B- right to the pads on the board.
  9. I'm having the same issue, also using Vista (Home Premium 32 bit). I tried two older versions of escribe and it does the same thing with all of them.
  10. To save space I'm thinking of soldering all wires to the board. For safety sake I'd want to connect B- as the last step once everything else is assembled in my Hammond 1590A. My question is the grounded mounting pads, if the board is grounded to the metal box via the mounted tabs, can I use chassis ground and connect the B- to the case or do I need to go through the B- pad? Thank you for everything!
