  1. ChunkyButt200 - you used the PCB cleaner or the Iso with no ill effects?
  2. Thank you! I am looking at this on Amazon - this what you mean? https://smile.amazon.com/CRC-05101-QD-Electronic-Cleaner/dp/B000CCMLD0/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1483401438&sr=8-8&keywords=circuit+board+cleaner CRC 05101 QD Electronic Cleaner A petroleum distillate / alcohol based precision cleaner designed as an alternative to CFC based cleaners. Ideal for apps where lower flashpoint materials can be tolerated. Cost effective, plastic safe & residue free.
  3. Sounds like a good suggestion. I'm not an electronics guy, is this cleaning procedure something I can do at home? Any suggestions for a cleaner?
  4. Ejuice leaked into the mod, took the mod to bits, cleaned everything, board seems fine, but one cell of the LIPO reads 0.001 V - looks like I need a new lipo. Anyone have one to sell, or suggestions for where to get one? It's got a Think Vape wrap, measured cap is close to the 1500mah, calipers give 68.3mm x 35.5mm x 23.1mm
  5. Ah, got it, that's clear. Away goes nickel, tungsten - here comes Nifethal70 and Kanthal Preheat Thanks! Edit - Worked perfectly
  6. Thanks for responding - so.... Save any materials I want, upload a clean profile (I save the profiles that come with the mod), then add back what I want? Correct?
  7. Can't figure out how to remove unwanted materials from the mod (DNA200 chipset) so I can put new ones on. Anyone have any ideas?
  8. I am using Basen Blacks with the VT75. Nice to have the extra capacity that the 26650 gives for when I'm out an about. The patch sounds like a very good fix. I don't use the DNA75 mod for anything more than about 50watts. I save my "cloudz Broh!" vaping for the Reuleaux or the Panzer for tc and the series boxes for kanthal. As you can tell, I'm not on this forum much, and I must say, I really like the tone and info provided by all the respondents - thanks!
  9. Yup, that makes sense, sorta thought so, but nice to have it confirmed, thanks
  10. So, I take it you recommend that I reset the soft cutoff to closer to 2.75? A little uncomfortable with that, what would you think about setting it to 2.9?
  11. Good to know. I had wondered if changing the soft cutoff might have an impact. I had set it at 3.2 (I have two batteries for this mod and can just change off, longevity is of interest to me), so I set it down to 3.0 and that appeared to alleviate the issue - could just be false cause, though. contacts should be clean, I had the mod for 2 days (dammit). I think I'll run the analyzer anyway (I like to tinker)
  12. Kinda figured, but am getting a weak battery reading with the battery showing 3.7 volts left, vaping on Ti TC at 40watts (75 preheat 1.5 secs), I think I'm gonna run the battery analyzer
  13. Any way to set up the mod through escribe75 using Mooch's results for a 26650? Or do I have to run the battery analyzer?
  14. I was hoping I was just brain dead, and it turns out I was - thanks to everyone who pointed out how to get to the graph and change the TCR
  15. good point i just looked and noticed as well they took it away or i just can't find it. the box that lets you input your own TCR value is no more? that's a bad move. it was so nice to be able to just throw a tcr value in and call it good. i was hoping for a tcr adj from the mod itself, TBH. like joyetech, yihi, or sxk.[/QUOTE] If you know who to ask about this, and could put in the question, that would be great - I'm having a hard time believing that they just shit-canned the function.
  16. Just installed the new escribe version and updated the firmware in both my devices. Am I correct in seeing that there is no way to set up a profile or material using a TCR value? I'm using the Dolphin tank with a tungsten ceramic element, and this is a bit of problem. I see nothing that looks like a temp coeff graph. Would appreciate some help with this. Edit - it looks like I will have to create a csv file using a TCR of 0.0045 for various temp points, and then import it to escribe. I'm hoping I am just brain dead and missing something, cuz this seems a rather large loss of functionality.
  17. Regarding the mod resistance on the Reuleaux - I purchased a solid copper know with a 510 connection - measured the mod resistance at 0.005. I changed the setting, but don't notice much difference
  18. Vapes well AND not melting face off - My God, dude ... you have high standards!
