Hafizh Posted September 12, 2025 Report Posted September 12, 2025 (edited) VID_20250911_211327 (1) (1).mp4 Hi, been using OXVA Xlim pro 2 for around 3 months. This is the first time happened to me. After charging the device using the OXVA USB Cable that included inside the box, the device won't start at all. I already tried to press the power and replay button at the same time to turn on the device, I already try to charge it again but it didn't work and only shows blank screen nor LED lights. Need your advice, thanks in advance Edited September 12, 2025 by Hafizh
Wayneo Posted September 12, 2025 Report Posted September 12, 2025 You can try a hardware reboot on the device. (Remove the pod and disconnect from USB. Then hold the Fire button until it reboots. It should take about 10-15 seconds.)
Hafizh Posted September 12, 2025 Author Report Posted September 12, 2025 (edited) Already try that method, but nothing happened. Is there any possibilities that the device going short circuit? Edited September 12, 2025 by Hafizh

Wayneo Posted September 13, 2025 Report Posted September 13, 2025 Just gotta ask. Using that same charger and cable in the same socket, will it show charging on a different device (phone, etc)?
Hafizh Posted September 13, 2025 Author Report Posted September 13, 2025 Sure, it works normally on my other devices such as phone and my VID_20250913_204032 (1) (1).mp4 pods. You may see it on the video i attached. VID_20250913_204032 (1) (1).mp4
Wayneo Posted September 13, 2025 Report Posted September 13, 2025 None of your 3 videos worked or showed up. I don't think if you click on them here they will show for you. AND THAT'S FINE AS I DIDN'T ASK FOR THEM, because I understood your words. In the future (what has worked for me) is use that 'choose files' option and you're done, nothing else to do. 🙂
krisspug Posted Tuesday at 08:10 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:10 AM i have the same problem with my oxva xlim 2 pro dna, after i put the device in charge (with the same charger that i used in the past and that i used for all my oxva device) the mod dont switch on. the strange stuff is that is recognize from escribe ....
James Bellinger Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago If it works from EScribe, try opening Device Monitor. What does it say for its battery voltage? Are you able to fire with the Puff function from inside Device Monitor? (If so, the issue may be the screen.)
krisspug Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Hello, thanks for your answer , in attachment the screenshot of Device Monitor .4,16 ohm of resistance looks really stange and not i cant fire with puff function in escribe: when i try appear one message "check atomizer"
James Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago If you click the icon to the left of "Puff" to bring up the button simulator, and click Fire, does the screen turn on? That'd tell us if there's an issue with the physical buttons. Also, before you start Device Monitor (make sure it is closed), go to Help->About in EScribe and left click the logo seven times. This will close the window and put the program into Debug mode. Then, start Device Monitor. If you do this, click the "Debug" group on the left to bring it up. What does "Buttons" say? As to 4.16 Ohms, PWM devices like Oxva can't read over 4 Ohm. 4.16 Ohm is probably the 4 Ohms limit with calibration applied. This almost certainly means it's not reading the pod resistance, or the connection has become very bad, but clearly it's detecting that there _is_ a connection, or it wouldn't have tried to measure it at all.

James Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago The charger you used, what does it say on the label for voltage and current?
krisspug Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago 2 minuti fa, James ha scritto: The charger you used, what does it say on the label for voltage and current? 5V 2A . is an original charger from another pod mod (KIWI) and i use for all the pod mod i have (including 2 more xlim 2 no DNA ) and in few years i never had any problems with the other device .
James Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago 5V should be fine. If it had put 9V or 12V onto USB (these do exist in the wild, even though they shouldn't), both the screen and FET driver would both be damaged by this. I can't speak for that particular charger, but contact Oxva for a repair/replacement.
