manual dna60C (color screen)?

Recommended Posts

I have had a Hussar Lore UNKWN edition for a month and a half and it comes with DNA60C which has a color screen and is very different from the DNA60 that we all know. Does anyone have or know where I can download the manual for the DNA60C?

There is no manual that I know of. It is effectively the same as the Black and White with most of the features of the color mods.

The new (IMHO) biggies would be;
Replay
Ability to change Preheat on TC, and remeasure the resistance of the coil attached
Custom themes

IF you do a File, Save in escribe and post via PM to me, or here and it has the default theme, I can help you with that. If it has a custom theme Hussar should help you.

The search bar works up top ↗️

What problem are you having?

No problem, but I would like to know more details about its functions and configuration possibilities. For example, in the photo I have no idea what that logo that says "RDY" is and some other details that I don't understand.

I have a new mod with electronics that many brands have been installing lately and I was shocked and surprised that there was no manual. This is not a positive thing and it surprises me.

After you take a puff and RDY shows that means "Replay Ready" . If that is the puff that you want to save highlight the play icon and hit the fire button. Now it should be in Replay mode. To take it out of Replay mode highlight the play icon and hit the fire button.

With the addition of 'Theme Designer' and 'Themes', now Manufacturers are capable of changing nearly every screen, color, font, parameter/field shown, movement within every screen, to their wishes. Surely Hussar shares that responsibility of creating a user manual, even if it is just the bare bones evolv default. I see from your very first picture they added that 'unknown' logo.

There is also a pinned post in the dedicated 60C area explaining how the buttons work
https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/72215-so-how-do-these-new-color-boards-work-or-wheres-the-select-button/

You can voice your displeasure with Evolv by clicking on the 'Help Desk' link in my signature line.

Technically the board is the same (as mentioned before) as the DNA60 which we all know, with the addition of a color screen.

Is there still no manual available for the DNA 60C?
We are still waiting or there is finally an instruction manual where it is more specific that I still cannot find.
Every product sold in the European Union is required to have a manual with technical specifications, safety warnings, instructions for use and maintenance, apart from the guarantee certificate, where is the one for DNA 60C?

HAS IT BEEN ON THE MARKET FOR A LONG TIME AND YOU STILL ARE NOT DOING IT? PLEASE THERE ARE MORE USERS THAN ME WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IT FOR A LONG TIME AND THIS WAITING IS NO LONGER REASONABLE

OH WOW, 137 DAYS AGO YOU COULD HAVE REACHED OUT TO THEM ALSO.

IT IS ALSO NOT REASONABLE WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN TWO OPTIONS TO FULFILL YOUR WISHES TO THEN COME BACK HERE, BEFORE REACHING OUT TO EITHER OF THE 2.

Seriously, if you look in the DNA60C area you will see that I have personally created 4 pinned posts regarding this new board. In my opinion I should not have needed to do that. I was not asked to do that, and I understand the frustration of regular users and builders. But yelling at us (ALL CAPS) is not going to move the needle. I share your frustration.

That doesn't solve anything for me, I had an Evol DNA Opinionnerronea and I see that I'm wrong, I consider you a serious and responsible company and this is not being the case.
You will have to give more value to other electronics than if they are more serious and responsible with their customers.
It's been almost a year since you trained this electronics and you still don't have the manual documentation that users need.
I wrote with capital letters because you continue to do nothing and it is not acceptable.

Dude, both @dwcraig1 and I are volunteers. We are NOT employees.

That's been the top line of my signature line on every post for years. I'll include @JacobEvolv here. HE IS AN EMPLOYEE.

@JacobEvolv You might wanna start at the top.

You have already made it clear to me what my next choices will be for SVA or DICODE electronics, which at least meet the needs of users who want to know the product and are curious to know how everything works and what functions are available.

These issues are more important than you give them credit for, and it is unacceptable that a brand that is among the top brands on the market is so late with a commitment such as having a proper user manual like you have for dna60.
