VC San AIO Chip efficiency, Battery life

Hey buddy, I got a mail late last night where the customer service order was canceled and I haven't had the time to get back to them. It would be nice to get it solved finally since the San DNA80C is worthless unless I want to carry 10 batteries with me. This whole ordeal is like a joke really.

We have someone in our Discord that received a Parsons SBS in an early order, and they are also reporting poor battery life with the DNA80c. I should have mine waiting in my mailbox today, but my RTA is not due to arrive for some more time.

This leads me to think it's an issue with the DNA80c itself and Evolv may need to look into a firmware update for this ASAP.

That's pretty funny considering these were 3 dudes with VC San Aio's. Then this happened.

VC have battery life issues even with their own chips, I found this out after making this post. I supposed countless products in they would have fixed them but doesn't seem the case.

My Pixel with the internal battery seems to be fine in that regard. I think this applies to VC products that use an external cell. 
 

haven’t tested my parsons but I’m a MTL guy. I’ll try to compare with my Billet Box.

Any news on the subject ? got two san AIO 80c and same bad battery management, thanks !

Also I am planning to buy the future rayzr80 mod from mod's house and as its name is indicating it,  it's a DNA 80 C

Tightening every single board related screw to near stripping will help a bit. I ended up attempting soldering the board myself to eliminate the issue which resulted in me frying it. Waiting on a new non-VC device now

My San is now sorted. The new device has more screws on the top plate so they must have modified the original design.

Ok thanks for the feedback, so as often probably an assembly issue than the board itself. Will try to sort this out also by myself, thanks again !
