Ribbon connector broke. Surely there is a fix?

I refuse to believe I have to replace my whole board, if anyone has any advice please let me know

You don't need to buy a new board, you can buy the screen separately..

Is the male connector on the ribbon broken or is the female connector on the board that is broken? If it is the male connector replace the screen but if not replace the board.
