leea12345 Posted April 15, 2020 Report Share Posted April 15, 2020 Hi there, am using ss316l spaced , and in tc mode i just find my cotton keeps getting cut in the middle of the coil. CMK Posted April 16, 2020 Report Share Posted April 16, 2020 SS316 - I just have to ask: 1.) simple or complex wire? Complex wire is difficult ... 2.) Do you measure the coil, or the resistance after annealing or the first use? The resistance of the SS316 changes very much after the first heating, which of course gives you completely wrong values. Basically, the temperature mode is very prone to errors, so I would recommend using the wire in power mode with Replay - works great. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMK Posted April 16, 2020 Report Share Posted April 16, 2020 In my themes you always see the calculated temperature of the last puff next to the set target temperature - the results are sometimes frightening and it takes a long time to adjust the two values by manually correcting the resistance.
