so my 28 awg ss430 arrived today . I made a 7 wrap spaced inner 3mm diameter coil about 0.7 ohm . I downloaded profile from steam engine , set up in e scribe, using 25 w and 410f . At moment all working nice in temp control mode .

Just google ss316l dna temp control issues , you will find some really good posts to read, but no it is not only dna 75c issue it is on other modes as well as far as i can see , it seems to be to do with the resistance change in 316l ,can make it a bit rubbish now and again in tc mode . I will report back when i have got my ss430 and wrapped a coil, the profile file installed and had a vape . I am expecting it to be very much improved tc experience due to the different resistance changes , after getting some good advice from people on here If it is all good, then will not even bother with 316l again .

just do your own research, there are many threads about it, i can only report what i have found over a period of time . When it works with ss316l it is awesome , just not consistent enough for me, so am trying ss340 as it will be more stable in tc mode i think thats all .

yes but i think its a 316l issue not dna device , also this is my second device in dna 75c , and it is exactly the same for me with ss316l, When it works good it is awesome , but too much playing about with it for me and i do think other materials will work better . I am no expert but can only report what i have found from my experience . And tried many coil builds, spaced , different escribe settings you name it tried it . I just do not have a lot of luck with ss316l

have you tried them,? are they safe to vape i have read some things about certain wires, sorry new to the tc thing

thank you as looking at 430, do i just download the csv file as i did for ss316, i get confused about the tcr , do i need to enter this as well? ,if so how , i was under impression i just added the csv file , sorry little confused with all the tcr thing

Hi there have tried ss316l , so many profiles, coils, settings and all that, sometimes it works, sometimes not , just seem to run into so many issues , just seems a little bit everything needs to be perfect with ss for me . So use it in replay and happy , so am looking for the best tc wire type for dna75c , Is there a wire type that works more reliable in tc mode , for a noob like me thank you

Thank you for that. i did try and they told me stealth vape uk, which i did contact , but they wont work on the mod i have or any stabwood mods they say . So a little bit lost now, Did not think it would too hard to find some where to do this . Thank you for your time

Hi there, am using ss316l spaced , and in tc mode i just find my cotton keeps getting cut in the middle of the coil. I was under the impression the tc would stop this happening with holding the power back so no dry hit and not causing the cotton issue, am confused

i am a noob too, but from what i read to use replay just put in replay mode and adjust wattage and when happy with puff select the save puff option . To get specific 316l you would be using the tc mode for ss316l not replay mode i think .

First i would like to say thank you for help i have received , i just am getting frustrated now . Please can you tell me where i am going wrong At this moment i am trying single wire as i was informed that works best in the dna for tc ? . I have a 8 wrap 22 gauge ss316l at 0.34 resistance . I placed the coil in and wicked, i then opened e scribe and read resistance and i locked it at room temp . . I am running at 27w and around 400F pre heat is on set at 75w in e scribe and punch is set at 5 on my device Do these settings seems ok or wrong ? Now if i decide to reset the resistance from the device menu and then fire , for some reason it seems to pump out the pre heat value of 75w , sometimes and of course bad vape burnt cotton, i really am confused. Should i always use e scribe for this ?? I also find i get dry hits is i turn the wattage up, on the device with the above settings , i really am confused Should i not use purchased fancy coils for ss316l in a dna , does the coil need to be spaced ? and should i call the evolve service centre i have been given as there could be an issue with the board ? I will just add i did use the atomiser analyzer and the resistance looks very steady , everything is tight, connections look good Thank you, pleas help

Hi there , if i needed a firmware update for my device , would it suggest it as it is connected to my pc , or do i have to check manually?. On device monitor tab it says version 1.1 SP33.2 INT. i assume that is what i am looking at ?. Thank you

i am using a alien ss 316l coil . i have read that the dna would work better with just single strand wire on tc. i dont know if this is an issue ?

Hi there had my dna 75c for a couple of weeks now, having issues not sure what to do / When using the ss316 profile. it does not seem to work great. sometimes it seems like its going in to just power mode , and sometimes have fired and it is basically does nothing . hope my device is ok. any input be great thank you

Hi i am new to all this, but just about managed to work out how to use basic escribe for adding removing from device . I have read that the standard profile for 316l is not the best and can not seem to find one anywhere that would be better Any advice be great Thank you

Hi all just got a viscous ant 21700 dna 75c squonk . Have a couple of questions please I am using a ss316 coil in tc mode . It seems to vape nice. i just do not understand the pre heat option i have in settings. I can change the number up and down from 1 , but not sure what it does? Also i have been trying the replay option , am i right in saying , just use the wattage up and down til i find nice vape and select replay . I understand what the replay function does , but not sure if a setting called watt boost plays a part or what it does or other settings i should look at before activating replay . I am using ss coils. Last question , i am trying out some ss 317 soon, was just wondering if there are any profiles i could add to my device so its set up for that material ? Thank you for your time
