Negative connections on dna go board

So on the go board there are 2 negative connections- 1 for the pod connection and one for battery. They’re both connected electrically on the board but I’m wondering if it’s safe to use just one- the pod connection? Reason I ask is the battery connections are awfully close together and I’d rather not risk a short there. But aware high frequency circuit grounding can be very critical for correct operation.

Answering my own question- yes you do need to use the battery ground connection separate from the atty ground connection- or the resistance measurement goes tits up and the go won’t fire or at least not as you’d expect it to

Yes I did- I’m very interested in the board so I’ve been experimenting with it 😉

Nice. That is something I also want to try but do not want to buy the Orion and throw everthing beside the board in the trash. Do you or anybody else know whether the DNA Go board will be available for hobby DIY modmakers in the future?
