DNA 200 Wont Fire

Woke up yesterday morning and was getting a "check battery" message, I've tried 3 different sets of batteries, the mod will only turn on when the USB is plugged in and I sometimes get a 'Warranty Service' message.

 

No idea what has caused this and the batteries are charged but it's saying they're dead when I put them in the mod.

Start a ticket with Evolv Help Desk explaining the situation.  They will guide you......  Warranty Service may be needed....

Thanks, what do you mean by 'Warranty Service may be needed'?

 

I started a ticket 24h and haven't received any word back so was gonna see if it was something I could fix myself

Sounds like the on board fuse may be blown. The 200 board doesn't have reverse polarity protection, so if you inadvertently inserted a cell backwards....If the fuse is blown & you want to replace it yourself, the info on the fuse is in the DNA 200 datasheet...dna200.pdf

You may be guided to send it in for repair.  If you started a ticket 24h the reply may be coming soon or may have went to your junk mail maybe. At any rate start another if you don't get a reply in a day or two as they have always been prompt to respond to tickets....
