giz_60
Not sure if this is your problem, but others with the Paranormal have been having an issue with the resistance reading a bit to high, due to the installation of the 510 connector, which will cause the board to not see enough resistance rise while firing, causing it to drop out of TC into Power mode...Can you post a screenshot of 'Device Monitor' while firing with the following boxes ticked..Power, Power Set, Temperature, Temperature Set, Cold Ohms & Live Ohms. Here are a couple of thread pertaining to this issue... https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/69115-lost-vape-paranormal-wrong-resistance/ https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/69140-paranormal-75c-resistance-too-high-fix/

For your Oni, can you describe your coils, and a Printscreen (Device Monitor) while firing would help. 7 hours ago, VapingDad said: according to my local vape shop building in temp control its one touchy item to work with. Well, none of the shops I frequent have any clue about temp control either, and voice that opinion based on selling non DNA devices.

VapingDad
well looking at that quick fix i thought id take a look at the settings and well im sold, because now running 6 wrap stainless 316 24GA twisted with a 0.635 twist is now working perfectly in the sherman RTA and the combo/ijoy RDTA. im now wondering if there is a simular fix for the the oni 167 because that worked perfectly. the 510 deck was a 1/2 turn off therefore no solid connection... who knew that these things are damn near rocket science to fix
Wayneo
So on your Paranormal, you unscrewed the 510, cleaned off the loctite, and it's now working fine? Did you verify that in Device Monitor? Using any TC wire your coil resistance will always rise, BUT YOU SHOULD ONLY EVER SEE THAT IN DEVICE MONITOR OR IF TC IS NOT WORKING or you're using just watts. Read that two or 3 times. What are your Profile settings for this (Preheat Power, Punch, Time) and then Power. Screenshot instructions in my signature line.

So any Intel I give for one vape I applied to others. Also fun thing my paranormal was charging overnight on the USB port onboard and now won't fire up so I've had it with this piece of shit it's going back. I've had nothing but issues with lost vape products and they are just shit from my experience. Their product failed their performance review but they look nice but that's it
