Droopydroors
This up & down button component only has 3 wires for both buttons. When I solder it on to the DNA60 board do I put the down wire in pin 1, the up wire on pin 6 and run the ground to pin 8 and leave pin 2 and pin 5 open? Sorry if this is a stupid question but im just playing around and want to make sure. Thanks in advance.
Droopydroors
Or do I need to add an extra wire to the component board so there will be 2 ground wires?

ThatGuySwain
Hello, if I remember correctly, pin 2 and 5 are connected internally as they are both ground. So with your 3 wire set up, you should be able to wire to pin 1, 2, and 6 and leave 5 open, or 1, 5, and 6 and leave 2 open. But I would not use pin 8 for your buttons. Easiest way to confirm this, is with multiple meter and check continuity between pin 2 and 5. Hope this helps.
greenj22
Yes - all you need to do is pin 1 (Down +) and pin 6 (up +) then the third wire is simply a ground and can be connected to any other ground/bat - pin (such as 2, 4, or 5). Cheers!
