tony zito
Hi for the DNA 250, I see a few companies using Maxamps 100c discharge batteries. Is all of that burst power even usable? if not what sort of c rating should I be looking for?
Wayneo
You're talking boutique companies. All choose the battery that will fit within the enclosure, or build/use the enclosure that will their battery of choice. Mooch has now published his Lipo testing results, and blown the lid off the hype and marketing. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blog-entry/lipo-pack-safety-grades-and-performance-table.7807/ Quoting him "C ratings are useless. Some packs exaggerate them beyond comprehension with some actually rated above the point where 12AWG wire would melt. Melt! Even if we call that a "pulse" rating the wiring would reach several hundred degrees." Edited June 19, 2017 by Wayneo Link Added
67exec
You only need 30A of power. So, a 1300mah 25c would be plenty. Also, I know tons of ppl use maxamps batts in their vapes, I never would. They are grossly overrated.
