justchil Posted July 14, 2015 Author Report Posted July 14, 2015 I've noticed when you switch the screen orientation to 'Right' the up/down buttons remain the same. Maybe I missed an additional setting for this but I wanted to let someone know in case it's not intended to be this way.

Up/down remains same like all previous DNA boards when you switch screen orientation
dwaindablane Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Yeah, but it would be nice if you wanted the buttons to change the from the default orientation and flip them to match right/left mode.
justchil Posted July 14, 2015 Author Report Posted July 14, 2015 I never noticed that.... I'm guessing the DNA30/40 models I had were so small it didn't bother me to use it in the "left" orientation. It's just a little thing that nags me. When asked "new or existing coil -- press up or down" I'm always confused.

Bapgood Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 I believe that is how it is intended. However Evolv may be able to add the ability to switch them in EScribe.
justchil Posted July 14, 2015 Author Report Posted July 14, 2015 Right. So maybe instead of saying it's a bug I'll say it's a feature request? The buttons should change with the screen orientation imo.

Otherwise, my DNA40's are way better in every other way. I can't wait to get my enclosure for my DNA200's.
James Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 We've added the ability to swap Up/Down to the next firmware version.
