Popeye Posted October 4, 2015 Author Report Posted October 4, 2015 If i set the battery capacity incorrectly, does the chip automatically stop charging at 4.2V in each cell or will it keep going until the set WH is reached?Just a little concerned because in Escribe my battery pack voltage is fluctuating between 12.60 and 12.61, still charging at 0.5A and is approx 300wh from full charge.
VapingBad Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 No, it will always respect the 4.2 V providing the battery type has not been changed from LiPo in Escribe. The USB current seen in Escribe device monitor will be higher as the mod is operational and not necessarily all being used for charging, I set USB current as one of the fields on the DNA charge screen if you do this you can see it drop off when attached to a charger.
Popeye Posted October 4, 2015 Author Report Posted October 4, 2015 I have got usb current set to come up when plugged in, ive set the current limit to 1A and using a wall plug but it doesnt go to my charge screen settings for some reason
awsum140 Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 As I learned, by asking the same question, you need to increase the screen brightness in charge. Default is 0%. I've found 50% works for even my tired, old, eyes.
