DNA200 with Crown

I am having an issue with the Crown .25 coils.  Even with the new firmware it is reading the OHMs at .3 to .34.

I have also tried to lock the ohms to .25 and with the old and new firmware it seems not to lock.

I have the HCigar VT200.

Great mod.  I wanted to get away from batteries as I fly a lot and TSA has been a big hassle with my Sigeleis and chargers.

I have even ordered another VT200.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

do you have another mod or a ohmmeter to test the coil out on? do you have any other coils to test? sometimes there are just bad coils. other times there are installation issues causing higher resistance. make sure the coil is screwed down tight in the tank and that the tank is screwed down tight into the mod.

in escribe what is your mod resistance set to? if you have checked everything above as well as another coil or two and the mod is constantly high on resistance even with different tanks/drippers than there might be issues with the internal resistance of the mod. if its always reading the resistance as being high by the same amount then just change the mod resistance. for example if your mod resistance is currently set to 0.007 and its always reading 0.01 high just set the mod resistance to 0.017 instead.

that being said, if everything is good with the tank and coils and the mod is reading everything as being 0.09ohm high i would contact the store for an exchange or HCigar for service. it is unlikely to be an issue with the chip and much more likely an issue with the installation in the mod or 510 connector.

The Crown's coils have no resistance leads and it's giving a lot of people headaches. When I use the RBA and SS wire it's fine. I have several CSV files for SS, the V3.25 overall worked the best but if you're having issues then I'll upload the full set. Here's one of many threads https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/67082-topic/?do=findComment&comment=903793 Good luck and let me know.

if you have the most recent version its in the mod tab towards the bottom. in the electrical section there is a field for mod resistance.

if you have the early release software its still in the mod tab but you need to click the button to show the rest of the settings.

the setting is 0

yes, whenever the mod detects a significant change in resistance of the coil it asks if its new. in addition, you want to attach coils when they are at room temperature.

it seems like some more information would help you would lot. i would take some time and watch the following videos to lean about your new vape.

Thank you for sharing.

How ever one thing that was mentioned a few replies back as the mods resistance.  Mine is set to 0.  Does anyone know what it is supposed to be set for the HCigar VT200?

mine is 0 also. anyone know what it should be?
