PLEASE HELP Temp Cont mode

I hope someone can help me with this issue because I am going bat S*&$ crazy trying to figure this S%$# out. I made a you tube video of the device monitor in use so maybe someone can help me out will leave a link to video at bottom. So now that pleasantries are out of the way on to the issue. The atomizer I am currently using is the Aromamizer RDTA sitting on a Reuleaux that is housing 3 married purple imren batteries. I have tried a plethora of different builds all with the same result. I have used 3 different types of wire Ni200, titanium t1, and 316l stainless steel. I have downloaded the CSV's from the steam engine and created separate profiles for each. I did not adjust any of the factory setting as far as preheat, punch, time on any of the profiles. The build that is displayed in the aforementioned video is a dual 24 gauge ti coil's 6 wraps 3mm reading .11. The ohms was checked on a Coil Master 521-tab as well as the device itself both showed the same resistance. With all three wire types no more than a second after hitting the fire button the temp protect message start's flashing. I realize that that does not mean the device is not working but pair that with the small to non existent vapor (More vapor is produced out of a generic convenient store e-cig). As far as I know the device is up to date I never received a message the first time I plugged it in to my computer which was a little over a week ago. I know E-Scribe is up to date. My apologies if I left any information out that might be helpful but I am more that willing to provide any info that could lead to the advertised and desired vaping experience. Thanks!!

Are your coils spaced or contact, you may have a hot leg which is causing the board to register the temp and reduce your power, also, if you have left the pre heat on Defaults it will be firing 200w... turn it down to 100w at least.
Last thing i can think of, check your connections are tight on the coils.

I use that atomizer.  It is a good one for TC vaping - being very stable in terms of resistance.  I also use Ti.  I have a much more stable vape than you are showing.  Your video shows very little power and extremely erratic temperature.  If it were my mod, I would look very hard at the 510 connector and it's wiring (ground).  I think your mod is seeing internal resistance changes (510 and ground) that it is assuming is happening in the coil.  

If you are not "handy" then I would certainly send the unit back as something internally to the wiring of the mod is incorrect.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I make all my own juice at a 70vg/30pg so I build most every coil regardless of wire type spaced for wicking and heating purposes. Sadly however turning down the pre-heat wattage had no effect. Thank you for taking the time and trying to help.

Not sure if this will help but I tried a TCR instead of a csv for the temp control setting and it made a huge difference. I did notice that I had one loose post screw one time. Have you tried using the atomizer analyzer tool? If you have used the tool what happened with the cold resistance reading? Is it stable? I was using 316L SS on a Billow V2. The TCR value of 316L is 0.00096 but the software only goes down to 0.00100 min. I sourced this info from a reddit post. Here is a link:

Thank you for the reply the link appears to be broke because it just comes up saying out of parameter. I will look into TCR's thank you for the info will let you know how it turn's out.
Tried the TCR I actually made vapor using my Titanium coil's. Now do you know of a class to take to understand TCR's?

Try putting that address in your browser. It's a good reference on reddit about problems with temp control.

Setting the TCR to the 0.00350 made quite a difference. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to share that info as well as everyone else who did. Thank you so much! I do have one question maybe you can answer maybe a dumb question and I loose point's for asking it but looking at the chart and the recommended setting's going by ohm's how would you adjust that number to compensate for higher/lower ohm builds. Would a lower ohm build require adjusting the TCR to a higher number also what is a good increment of adjustment? Thank's to everyone for the help this far and any help in the future.

If setting the fixed TCR made Titanium TC work then my assumption is you either didn't import the Titanium (TFR) CSV file into your Mod or you used the wrong wire profile. The TCR / TFR curve (Temperature, Resistance) is a constant for whatever metal or alloy of wire you're using. The number that changes is the amount of energy consumed to heat the wire to a set temperature; Evolv is Watts or YiHi is Joules.

The suggested ohms in that chart refers to how you should build your coils as to what resistance you built it to. Using the TCR number as opposed to using the CSV is what I have been suggesting to jewisbullie04. That is just based on my experience with my build. It helped me. Basicly with SS316L for me. I set the TCR as low as the software would let me go and that seemed to tame the ramping or rollercoaster of the temp. So based on the chart above for TI grade 1 wire it suggested a 0.10 ohm build for temp control to work well. YMMV. Try it out, what is the worst thing that will happen? burned cotton or bad stuff from TI wire if it's too hot? Be careful. Eventually you will find what works.
