pacasso1194
Battery on my DNA won't charge or connect to escribe! I've tried 6 different cables and 4 different blocks, and I even tried an external lipo balance charger and nothing. It shows the battery is the same on mine but when I put it into my buddies mod it's showing that it's over half way charged

pacasso1194
Me and my buddy have the same mod. I used an external charger to charge it but it's showing on my mod that it wasn't charged. Even though it shows a higher charge on his. And the mod does vape. I can't check the cells voltage with escribe as it won't connect
BillW50
There are four wires in an USB cable. If one fails, the DNA won't connect. Also rebooting your computer can solve some connection problems. At this point, I would try your friend's computer to try to connect.
pacasso1194
Are you saying the plug connector on the dna could have failed? I'm going to try another computer today
BillW50
No, what I am saying is that USB cables are usually the first to go. So they are the first to check. Also some USB cables are wired for charging and not for data connections. So those won't work either to connect to. Although they are fine for charging if they can handle 1A ok. pacasso1194
Yea I've tried 6 cables and 4 different power blocks along with 4 USB ports none of them work
BillW50
Well that is more than convincing to me that it isn't the USB cable.
pacasso1194
So what could it be?
BillW50
I would try another computer next. If that works, then maybe your Windows USB driver for Evolv is corrupt (we'll tell you how to fix this). If it doesn't work on another computer, it sounds like the DNA board is at fault.
