dwcraig1 Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 You got itHere's my crude wiring for positive on the juice bottle and pin #3 (red one) Tape the wire to the side of the bottles cap. Do the same for the bottom of the juice bottle and insert into #2 (the white one you have arrow pointing.Probably best to get the bottle into the charger first then connect to #3 and 2 on balance plug. It should take 1 - 2 hoursIf you have a meter you can see if it's coming up or not.As I said in my original post " I didn't like that juice anyway" I sure did like the bottle though...LOL
Spector NS5 RD Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 just make sure you're charging ONLY the cell that is lower in voltage in respect to the other two. double check and find the bad cell's balance wires with a multi meter. make sure you have the polarity correct as well. charger positive to battery positive and charger negative to battery negative. i don't mean to nag, just be safe is all. if you feel uncomfortable doing, DON'T. you could always just buy another lipo. i don't foresee you having any problems, though. post back with some pics of your rig and your results.
BillW50 Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Oh CB... you mean you don't trust reverse polarity protection on battery chargers?
Daft Chunt Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 Got it, thank you all so much for your time and knowledge - looking forward to getting my battery firing on all cylinders again, cheers :-) :-) :-)

Daft Chunt Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Got cell 3 charging now, could I ask if you know which pairs of connectors run to which cells, just in case any of the others start going out of sync please :-)
BillW50 Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 That is easy, the black wire one is ground. They are labeled as GND, 1, 2, 3 (red).GND (neg) + 1 (pos) = Cell 11 (neg) + 2 (pos) = Cell 22 (neg) + 3 (pos) = Cell 3
Daft Chunt Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 Thanks very much, I've taken a screen shot for future reference and my mods running properly now so thank you all for your time and help, it has been very much appreciated
