Triade DNA200 with Crown 2 Setup Help Needed

Vaping since: April 2016
Current Mod: Triade DNA 200
Current Tank: Crown II
Current Atomizer: Crown II 0.25?


Would like assistance setting up a new profile for this coil. So far, I've blown through 4 coils in 2 days because, despite going through the EScribe tutorial, I'm still a bit lost.

I don't know anything about the inner workings of a coil, and don't know the terminology.
I just wanna vape.

Please help?

If you are using a SS316L coil on the Crown, you can vape either power (no TC) or SS316L with TC enabled. I don't have a Crown II, just Crown I so hopefully it is the same.

I also have two Triades and unless you changed the defaults, Profile 1 is for power mode (without TC). And Profile 7 is for SS316L (for TC).

I tried both setting, but the coils burn up after 4-5 hours.
Is there a difference between SS316L and SUS316 coils?
The coils i have are .25 and on the tube they come in says SUS316 Parallel Coil.

I have no idea what SUS316 coils are. Maybe this video will help you breaking in your coils.

just different ways of abbreviating stainless steel. SUS is a typical japanese abbr.

I have the crown 2 and to me it's better then my crown 1 and tfv4 as far as my sub ohm tanks. There has been problems with some of there coils. You may have a bad batch. So it may not be your settings. There is stuff on YouTube about these coils. I have not been using tc. I've been going threw 2 tanks a day with the .5 coil for over 2 weeks vaping at 45 watts on the same coil. Just something else to consider.
