Usb not working

USB connection stopped working, I've tried on multiple computers with the included USB cable and others, and I can not connect to the PC. Simply not detected. This happened in a hcigar vt75, with 4 days of use. Purchased abroad, because in my country is not yet available for sale.

It's like they do not connect anything, does not recognize it, no charge.

It still works from the battery right? That part of not connecting by USB... well the only thing left that you can do is to contact Evolv to repair it.

"USB port was disconnected" is not a box problem as i have seen it happening
on several different devices (I have  a SMY75 and some friends a HCigar75) - it looks more like an evolv/escribe problem.

This issue is quite common with windows 7 and XP while it doesn't usually happen with win 8 and over.

i have same problem too, I bought my therion dna 75 last sept 1 2016, then yesterday i finally went to try escribe and still they not found my device but it charge. i tried different usb and usb ports

Be sure the cable has data link and is not just for charging. Paraphrasing:

Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity of the middle two pins between each end of the cable. No continuity or high/"infinite" resistance means the cable is missing data wires and is a "charge only" cable.
