Tim0th3e Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 Hello,I've just finised my dna 200 box mod. Everything is working. But when I put the rta on the 510 connector, the dna 200 screen said me: shortedCan you help me?Thank youTim0th3e
VapingBad Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Does is say check atomiser if you press fire with not rta in the 510?
Spector NS5 RD Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 if you screw on an atomizer and go into escribe, open "atomizer analyzer", what is the resistance reading? can you also post a couple pictures of the wiring (soldering) to the dna 200 board, 510 and battery connections. :^)
Tim0th3e Posted October 13, 2016 Author Report Posted October 13, 2016 Here are the pictures. My connection are not battery but dual 18650.
Spector NS5 RD Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 if you screw on an atomizer and go into escribe, open "atomizer analyzer", what is the resistance reading? use a known working atty for atomizer analyzer.

Expand this is with an atomizer screwed on? de-solder the 510 wires from the board and see if you still get the "shorted" message. if goes from "shorted" to "check atomizer" the problem is in your soldering, wiring or 510. if it still says "shorted" even with the 510 wires de-soldered then somethings wrong with the board or something conductive on the board shorting it.

Expand Yes, an atomizer from geekvapeThe box said me nothing when there isn't an atomizer. If I push the fire button, the box said me "ckeck atomizer". And when I put an atomizer, the box said me "sorted". I verified and noting (buttons, solder) touch the box. And the 510 connector's soldering is good (check photo)...
VapingBad Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 This is a sort of wild guess, something worth checking anyway, with an external fire switch it needs to be isolated completely from the body (ground). I would take the batteries out and use a multi metre to check neither switch wire has a low resistance to ground when pressed.
