VTBox 250 Broken Screen / Dead Box

Hello everyone!

I'll keep it short, the screen started flickering a few days ago and now has gone completely black. The mod kept working for a few minutes there, before dying completely off.

It had just been charged and Escribe sees it perfectly, but other than that no signs of life.
Maybe it's just the screen and I cant see if it's locked, but I reset and hard rebooted and nothing changed.

Any suggestions on how to approach this?

Could you post a screen shot of 'Device Monitor' in Escribe?

With device connected could you go to Device Monitor and then select "Puff" in lower right corner and then select 3 or 4 seconds and see if the device will fire?

It appears to do nothing, but I have noticed in the bottom left it says "mode charging, locked"

Can it be unlocked somehow? 

Maybe the screen is the only thing broken and the mod is just locked.

5 clicks of the fire button to unlock....

It unlocked, but the 5 clicks is not working as it usually did. It almost feels as if the button is not sending input.

Anyway, is now in normal mode, still won't fire.

Now unlocked so try the "puff" feature again to see if it will fire...

The Puff usually will fire even when the device is locked tho....

From the graph, it now appears to be firing.
Unless I am understanding it wrong.

The puff number is not changing in any case.

Your latest graph doesn't show it firing... try vaping when you select 3 second puff... does it vape ?

No. It stopped vaping a few puffs after the screen went black, yesterday.

You just said it appears to be firing.  If it won't fire using the "Puff" function for 3 seconds then you may have a problem with the device or the circuit board.  You might contact the vendor if the device is still in warranty.  If not in warranty you could start a ticket with Evolv and they will guide you...

Yes, because I though the variations in the graph meant firing, but I was wrong.

Thank you, I contacted the vendor (only one month old) and am now waiting for the reply, even though in the previous message they asked for 100 dollars handling fee, when the whole box costed 115.

I thought GearBest was reasonable or something!
