  1. Did you by any chance remove the cover with the third battery while USB cable was attached and batteries installed?
  2. It's the board, the wee little chip mentioned above. It happed the same moment I disconected the USB charger.
  3. I'm on the same boat. Brand new Hcigar VT250S in 2 cell config. Cell 1 reads 0V, cell 2 reads 5.02V. Removing both cells, cell 2 still reads 2.26V. I've got 4 puffs on this device. I put 2 charged batteries in, the battery indicator shows empty batteries, so I plug my 1.5A USB charger in and after unplugging, the device won't come on again. Holding the fire buttun for long enough will show both initial screens and then "CHECK BATTERY"
