  1. The only real issue is the ribbon cable being pinched by the fire button. Everything else is just us nitpicking at what we would've done better. The mod is the perfect size for me and the 950mah lipo lasts a day for me so I'm happy with it. [/QUOTE] I just think for 200 bucks it could've been better. Idk why they wouldn't use stranded silicone wire anyways. Seems like a no brainier. And I mean if they wanted to throw stuff together why not just go into the mod enclosure business. Then I could've done all this myself. I essentially assembled it all over again

And not using silicone stranded wire I feel is just a weird decision. Why would anyone wanna use wire that stuff for something always moving.
  3. As far as the resistance readings on the v200. I tried to solder the 510 better. Idk if the solder made connection to the wire farther in the 510. But when I looked inside for the first time the wire looks like it wasn't bonded to the solder. And the connection to the board same thing. On the 510 it almost just looked like the wire was just sticking out of the solder. But not fused with it. I tried beefing it up more and reheated the solder connection to the board but they look like pretty poor solder joints.
  4. Yessss. Fixed my screen with one from another board that just arrived. Also added bullet connectors I took out of an xt30. Was a tight fit but in the end it wasn't much different space wise as the jst. Hopefully now there's no issues. Also lined the side of the lipo against the board and 510 with some thick rubber electrical tape.
  5. I'd rather not order from overseas
  6. Well screen just went. This is just so upsetting. Bye bye Hana. How can I just order a replacement screen. There's no way I'm sending it to Hana. I don't trust it.
  7. Yup. My Hana screen just died. Knew it was bound to happen. I need a screen
  8. Yea I can't see a way to get an xt30 in. Maybe if u cut the balance leads way down but then u might be forcing the battery too close to the 510
  9. Yes I'm gonna take apart an xt30 and use the bullets inside of it
  10. Yea I just heard back from Hana. They said I can take a look and replace the battery connector without voiding warranty
  11. Yea cause I received my Hana Friday and am worried about it failing any minute
  12. Did they say as of what date?
  13. John I have sent you a pm as well my Hana has not failed yet but I did take a peek inside and it is kind of worry some. The 510 wire appears to be rubbing and the fire button is noticeable different sounding than the rest. Not to mention the battery power connector. I would still temporarily trade if u would like to get your hands on it. Overall it's a worry
  14. Isn't that ridiculous service. Evolv fixing problems they don't even have too. Although it works out for them cause they can rule out board defects vs manufacturer defects
  15. It's even harder to tell if it's on your part especially when the boards are in the hands of so many modders. Not to mention the postal service. So far both of mine are doing well. I'm crossing my fingers and glad I got two so we'll see. My third board which was the first I got idk what happened the first time I fired the mod shut down and would not do anything usb or not. Fuse had continuity but I kinda just let it go. Never thought I'd be able to send it back and get a new one. Also I had already covered my soldered connections with light epoxy just to prevent shorts. Oh and I might add the mod connected to escribe but only read battery voltage and cell voltage. It would actually fire too on the monitor but would fire like 1 watt in a pulse fashion. Device was unresponsive tho. Didn't match any failure I've seen. I believe something must of shorted somehow but never could tell. Fuse didn't pop so I did not think so and verified with a good meter. So I just ordered another the day it happened should of came here baha
  16. is it just me or does anyone else get that feeling when they use their dna200 haha. Finally a board that comes out in beta to let people work the bugs out before being released. And customer support too. I'm tired of buying rushed out weekly produced mods from overseas only for the fixed one to come out a week later for purchase again. I finally feel like I'm not just throwing my money away. I mean yea opus and Hana from what I've seen rushed some things to get into the market but nothing that excellent customer service doesn't take care of.
  17. If you are really really impatient you could always just take the 3d files they provide and upload it to an online cnc machining company for a quote. May only be 20 bucks a piece if u get a bunch made. Maybe start a group buy. Always an idea.
  18. Hahaha so sorry. I meant have you had any conversation with Hana mods about this. I seem to never really get a response from them and I really wanna use the device more but I'd rather take care of this battery connector before I have to ship the mod out.
  19. John or Brandon, any update on this. Have you heard or spoke with hana modz on this subject at all. I mean I prob will just dig in and make sure everything is installed correctly especially after hearing some of the v200 issues popping up. Maybe prevent a return before it happens.
  20. I just started using my v200 I received today and it's working fine and I've updated it. Works the same as my other dna200 that I built myself. My concern is the pictures I've seen of the inside regarding the battery power connectors being the small jst xh I believe which are supposedly only rated at 2 amps or so. How can this be safe. I can wore in some bullet connectors myself or just solder the wires direct but don't want to void warranty. Anyone from evolv have more info on this or maybe it has been discussed already?
  21. Just go to steam engine select titanium wire then select the resistance approximation which doesn't really matter with one one wire type and download the csv. Then upload it to one of your profiles and give it a go. Should work pretty well like that
  22. I will add that Hana actually changed their description on the website and it now says that it has a 950mah 3s lipo (equivalent to 2850mah)
  23. Surely we should. It's all I see in the forums is bitching that evolv suck blah blah why 200 watts why have such small battery capacity. There's no talking sense lol. But I'm sure the manufacturers are also trying to compare pe*is sizes
