Dimensions of 950/1300? I know I've seen others ask but I never saw an answer posted. You can fit a maxamps 1850 in nearly the same space as a turnigy 1300-1500.
I am curious if anyone else notices this.... I ran battery analyzer several times with long cooldowns in between. Every time I run it I get about -1Wh from what the battery is rated for (Maxamps 1850). I will see 100% charge when the pack voltage is 12.3-4. I changed the WH using the calculator and the battery % goes down to ~94% which seems right. I will run analyzer again... this specific mod has around 1months use on it.
One note I've noticed. If you use a "Charge/Power only" usb cable on a PC you will charge at 1amp. Typically with a data cable you charge at 500ma (1/2amp).
I know there is a thread about showing TEMP instead of WATTAGE while in temp mode (or at least an option to). In addition (or alone) I would LOVE to see a third set of "fields" -- temp mode fields. These are generally my default settings. When I use a temp control atty I manually go in and change the default fields. Wouldn't it be great if there were default fields for when the device is using temp control? Make sense? Edit: Temp Field 1: Wattage Temp Field 2: Temp Temp Field 3: Last Temp Assuming the Temp/Watt swap happens that is being requested by many.
I would LOVE to see this. I don't use temp control very often. So I have to remove it from my "fields" otherwise I have - - - for temperature. It would be nice if the device is not in temp control mode to put the user selected field -- if it is in temp control mode display wattage. Sort of how the RX_Clone is setup.
I have two screens one had a green protection tab the other has a red tab. The cable looks different but I haven't tested to see which is tougher. I am super super careful with screens right now
I'm also curious which enclosure "Bob" was able to get a MA 2800mAh into I will be posting results tonight. I ran 5x tests per battery type. I did see more mAh firing at a lower wattage with a 2.5v cutoff but not at 100w/2.5v.
I see that now. Looks like when the sag hits the cutoff it's stopping the fire which is expected. I am testing several batteries... I think all are already on the list but I have multiple of each and I'm doing breaking them in first the proper way etc. Looks like some folks doing tests on 18650's are using 2.5v cutoff. I wonder if that would skew results vs/on lipos? It might be a useful field to add to the list if nothing else. PS: That's an insane block of aluminum Have you checked temps on the resistors?
I don't use temp control much (or at all because it's never been a good vape for me) but I picked up a Smok TFV4 TF-STC2 coil for kicks. I have to hard reboot through escribe to get temp control to work at all. It may just be this coil but at 60w temp set at 420F I don't even reach 200F. I tried everything but the only thing that made it kick into temp mode for me was the hard reboot.
