  1. Thanks VapingBad, this post inspired me to try my first TC build on a genisis atty. I built my rocket atty with nickel, it was a lot easier than I expected, and it's vaping fantastically. I'm only vaping at 14watts but with the DNA200 it's got such a punch.
  2. Thanks Littlefeather, I found the DNA200 easier to install than the other DNA boards. I allowed myself a bit of space with this one but I think that I'll be able to make my next one a little smaller.
  3. Thanks Guys, My screen tab was showing 0% charging brightness. I didn't notice it before. Changed brightness and all is good now
  4. I've un installed, re installed the escribe software but my board is still not showing the charge field options. I'm assuming that it's not the software because with the re installed software, when I click " connect and download settings" the downloaded settings from the board show the changed charge field settings but the board doesn't display them.
  5. Thanks for the reply mikepetro. I've been having a play around with software so I restored the default settings but it's still refusing to change the charging field display. I've also noticed that I'm not getting the same live view in device monitor as the view shown in the simulator. I'm going to un-reinstall the software and see if that solves the issues.
  6. Thank you breaktru, they are getting easier thanks to all the info I get from your forum.
  7. I'm trying to change the display on my screen when in charging mode but nothing seems to be happening. I can change the Default Field screen but the Charging Field screen just mirrors the default screen.
  8. Thanks Guys. VapingBad, I've not tried rope or mesh with TC yet, TBH, I've not really used TC at all but I think that will change now that I've got a DNA200. I still prefer glass tanks though, just so I don't empty the tank without realising.
  9. Finished my build today only to find that I made the display aperture too small. I might make a new front panel in the future.
  10. There are some nice looking DIY mods being posted. I hope to finish mine this weekend and I'll post a photo.
  11. I have got the nano tech 950 mah, got it from Hobbyking UK with 24hr delivery. It's 72 x 25 x 20. It needs a little space for the wires/connectors.
  12. I'm having trouble finding amp ratings for various connectors and was wondering what connectors are recommended. The 950mah battery that I purchased has 20awg wire for power leads with a mini JST connector. This connector doesn't look as though it could cope with 20+ amps.
  13. I've just received my 3s 950mah battery and I am quite shocked and pleased with the small size of it. I think that it will still allow for interesting enclosure designs.
  14. Hi mamu I'm glad you added your knowledge on this subject and it's good to know that changing the fuse is do able. I had been thinking wether to add an external fuse but was concerned about the weak battery issue when using a fuse that's rated below the required amps. Also, if I was to use a fuse with around 23amp hold, would it trip in time to protect the on board fuse. ATM I've decided to leave out the external fuse.
  15. Thanks, that's a relief. I've already put my order in at hobbyking for batteries/wires/connectors but didn't add one of these.
  16. That was my 1st idea, but Hobby king were out of stock so have just got the plugs ans sockets on the way.[/QUOTE] Am I correct in thinking that the board comes with a unattached connector ?
  17. Hi KTMRider I also followed the link on ECF. I've got a DNA200 on order but I think that it will be weeks before I've got a working mod built. I've had great success with evolv boards in my DIY mods and expect the same from the 200.
