  1. hi in reply to the OP, I use a 24/32g titanium clapton in my Aeronaut RDA, resistance would wander at times usually on a fresh coil up to 0.26-0.29 but I just remove the atty, fire to clear and put it back on. Lo and behold it asks new or old coil. I select 0.23 again and its good for days. Have you checked the ohms lock in Mod OE settings? if its somehow dropped to something silly like 10.54% reset to 25% and it should stop it from asking new or old every time you fire it. Now if i could only get the claptoned Ni200 to behave...
  2. have you got a custom screen? could be that or on escribe go to the 'theme' menu , right at the bottom 'battery meter', select default or all screens upload to device percentage..... 'screen' menu 'fields' dropdown menu and select 'battery charge %' in charging may also help.... reduce idle time to 20 secs? increase charging brighness to 50%
  3. hi, afraid you have to set and save your own personal settings for coil, temp, preheat, punch, time, wattage. Thus when you change your atomiser or coil you can select a preprogrammed profile. They are all down to how you like to vape, that's the whole idea of the DNA 200: fully customisable control.
  4. thanks for finding the diagram. Yes I do have to run the battery analysis, the case cooling analysis was completely different to the factory specs. I've been reading through the threads bit by bit and made a few small changes but finding a whole hour or so of peace and quiet to monitor the test doesn't seem to present itself.
  5. you know when you search through so many posts and can't find what you are looking for? firstly I saw a diagram for the 1/2/3 battery config......if anyone can help please? I need to mark the batteries so that I can rotate them My rolo is constantly showing cell 1 to be down a smidge and the escribe graph shows a different voltage drop. Its the same on two sets of 25Rs so I'm thinking its more of a contact issue than battery. I'm running a CSV battery profile from the discharge thread, have new 25Rs and had originally set the WH to 27. 75 and yet device monitor shows 23.31 at full voltage which equates to 2100mah. Even reloading, disconnecting, closing ES and reconnecting the Wh calculator makes no change to this which I find a little confusing. I'm making a broad assumption that 1) the rolo is having issues. 2) my batteries are possibly fakes or rewrapped? Which would be a fair reason why I don't seem to get any more vape time than with VTC4s? Scrub #2......just plugged it back in and escribe now shows a full charge at 27.71 grrrrr
  6. Cheers VB, not something I wanted to doing, I'm going to leave it until the weekend until I have the time to sit down and methodically check everything (again). If its the mod it can go back to the UK retailer
  7. basically I'm getting fluctuations between the resistance shown on screen to whats on escribe with known coils. It's my dual coil titanium buid that I have been making for a while now. the mod flashes 0.12 then rises to 0.2 whilst escribe shows 0.14 TC is obviously affected and either won't reach the limiter or the temperature doesn't register on the device monitor. I've checked the coils for loose legs, there are no hot spots and I've recoiled after stripping the dripper, only to get the same problem recurring. The build works fine on a different DNA200.
  8. QUOTE=VapingBad]0.07 is way too high, Wismec ship them set to 0.003 & I measured mine at 0.004 so set it to 0.0036.[/QUOTE] similar situation with setting the mod resistance , although mine came out of the box set at zero and I had to install the wismec setting myself. The resistance on my Reuleaux came out at 0.007 so I set it at 0.0056 allowing a generous 20 % considering that OE was 0.003. There is no change in coil resistance reading but it vapes like crap, I'm not even going to bother with a cotton test to see how far out the TC is now. just off topic, I found the case analysis results to be higher than what Wismec gave in their mod settings, is this typical?
  9. pug ugly but I would suppose worth it for the money, even if gets used as a donor. I picked up another Simeiyue DNA200 from Cigabuy at the weekend for £75 delivered. I'm considering a DNA133 build, you cant buy the parts for that kind of money
  10. thanks dc, thats the file I downloaded. tbh I wasn't sure how valid the wismec profile was because when I loaded it the wh was different to the manual setting. oh well I'll run on the safe side for a bit longer and set it up properly when the resistors arrive. will be good to see how close the case profile is to wismec's specs too. The SMY is a different beast with the new setting already, looking forward to getting the Reuleaux sorted.
  11. hi, new to the forum and a shamefaced newb post. I got carried away last month and took advantage of the preorder price on the SDNA200. Although I've been fairly happy kanthal and nichrome I can safely say that titanium and SS are a huge step into the satisfying vape zone. The thing is looking into setting up my Realeaux properly has made me realise that my SDNA is set up wrongly. I've been really lazy and ran my SMY on default settings, the first 25% of the battery goes quite quickly but so far I haven't hit the soft cut which I suppose has been a small bonus. Has anyone else got one of these and have they made a true profile of the battery, is it close to the 3x1600mah? I know that I should have run the battery and case tests by now but I have ordered some 100w resistors so it won't be long before I start to do things properly Voltage read 4.2 on all cells with 3x720 mah for 9wh? I've changed that to nominal of 11.1 with 1600 and got 17wh which is a big step up in indicated longevity. In the event that the battery test actually gives me a solid 4.2v cell reading that would give me 20wh, should I up the base profile? Thats a lot of extra TC vaping at 50w. Realeaux......I have VCT4s, 3.7v x 2100 mah gives me 23.31wh on the calculator, I saw a profile for these in this thread /topic/65604-topic/?do=findComment&comment=886767 I can't change the file type. Wonderful windows 10 has wrecked my personal settings, updated stuff, made printer, camera, phone incompatable...(oh why oh why did I let it upgrade) and my microsoft works has now upgraded and expired even though it wasn't free and shouldn't have expired..grrrr Would anyone anyone be able to post a downloadable CSV file? thanks Steve
