  1. Ok, I'm lost here I loaded 2/29 then updated then tried 5/6 and it wouldn't let me ? I need step by step instructions if you could
  2. ok , I was under the impression that people are bricking boards with (test) firmware.. I don't see 2/27/16 Anyhow I am going to load 2/29/16 1.0.42 then .56 I guess. That's safe
  3. So should I install recommended 1.0.35.2 or 1.0.42 ? I get lost, it's all easy enough once installed
  4. Ok yep was outa the loop for awhile, I suppose it will auto update .... Thank you
  5. Ok so do I install the links you have highlighted in your signature= DNA200/ DNA75 ? and I'm set? I am starting from scratch with no software on computer and have a dna200 also a 75
  6. if your looking for say UD SS316 profiles jaquith has specific csv's for that.. Search "ss316help" then last page there are 4 files dropped for you to choose from I have found his v3.25 to be accurate with other wire brands also
  7. ya I got a couple fakes on ebay a few months back.. when I went to seller for a refund with all the facts on legit vs. fake He with no questions asked gave a refund and some excuse.. I went with those hohm life 3077 mah they seem to be good
  8. ya that ss430 is springy as hell. comes pretty dirty too. I will have to revisit .. I am having good luck with mkws 316 and 316l clapton I get no weird taste like the UD. I also have to run jaquiths v3.25 for UD since it sputters so bad..
  9. Ya so far not impressed with this Vt133 in the least. It seems very under-powered compared to my others and just can't figure it out.
  10. Does anyone know whether or not the Vt133 has reverse battery protection, as advertised?
  11. This vt133 isn't helping my cause! My other DNA's hit way harder with little to no punch or preheat? Can't figure it out... ? I'm wondering if the 510 spring is not stiff enough? It just doesn't have the "authority" power wise as my others .. Any input is greatly appreciated..
  12. I had one blow awhile back but it was from setting the wattage (too high) and then limiting the tempature (too cool) but that was with the supposed defective batch fuses they had in the beginning.
  13. 0.0045 is riding the line well but only with my manual values on excel with SE as starting Edit- atty trouble. 0.0045 is just about right for the TCR's I tested
  14. So a few months back I had heard from one of the employees to go with 85-90% of the actual value should I use 0.0036?
  15. Lightly annealing this wire works ok and another method would be to use a smaller bit so when it springs back its not larger than intended circumference. But Imo SS 430 is not very good unless you are totally intolerant to nickel
  16. What batteries are you getting those results with? What is your mod resistance value?
  17. ya it takes alot of reading as far as quotes on mobile iphone I cant quote the last reply but I can scroll up to next or desktop version
  18. I think there's a few topics over on ECF with people using unkamen and rio grande as most mentioned I found those wires to be very dirty. lighting vapes has some ok wire for cleanliness It seems to be plated with something though? Titan wire brand is good but expensive and I see really no difference to the fasttech grade1 https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10015322/2839600-ti-grade-1-titanium-heating-wire-for-rebuildable other than that I have found most of the info where I least expected it.. for instance scrolling through the help with ss316 topic there's alot of titanium info there..
  19. ya ssv is a titanium alloy "Tife" and has iron in it. I remember Jaquith saying its not even grade 1-5 he did a burn test and it nearly caught fire. SE is a must but found it to be a bit to cool. Out of all the grade1 I have tried I like my fasttech .5mm Ti the best and its cheap also
  20. I get 3times the performance and flavor out of a standard wrap 24g. Ti build than any of my kanthal Clapton A-1's ever put out . Ti lasts months and when I do use kanthal I can taste iron, which is alarming. All it takes is good connections and the right csv. I wouldn't use steam engine for anything other than a starting reference then tweak the settings up a bit on excel
  21. Doesn't matter a whole lot on gauge as long as it's Gr.1 Ti the thicker the gauge the less choppy it will be it seems to regulate better, 24g. Is good. The Clapton is Ti and kanthal a-1 mix .
  22. http://www.filedropper.com/titanwirescsvfiles file has two Ti csv's 1 is a Clapton kanthal blend and one is grade1
