  1. Wow it’s been forever since I picked up my Vape but 3.25 and ss316 was killer I tried to litter that around and spread the goodness.. It’s been a long while since dropping in . Is DJaquith still contributing?
  2. my question is the front/back color ? having a hard time picturing where the (halfs) will meet and if they would look good as solid color or two tone?
  3. that is some horrible SS316 I used it a few times with Jaquiths UD profiles but it was shuttering terribly as if it had 5times the wattage running through it than was set
  4. received CW ss430 today and wondering why it rides the TEMP SET line perfectly but with anemic vape with TCR 138 ? then use dwcraig recommended 238 which falls short of TEMP SET but gives responsive vape allbeit lacks density and moisture? then play around down the TCR scale to say 200-210 it gets closer to TEMPSET but with about the same Lackluster vape? I guess my main question is why the anemic vape at the wires standard TCR value but shows as its reading the wire correctly to be able to ride the TEMPSET line?
  5. Yep It wasn't in the least bit impressive. Ya get something besides UD, and use atleast 2.5ID Rod with minimum 5/6 wrap spaced and you should be good if your leads are tight and you have a sound clean atomizer I usually run in the 485-500F range
  6. I would suspect it seems the two times I bought UD they reacted differently. Both times they seemed to sputter and I had to run at low wattage to quiet it down. I have had great luck with all MKWS wires in 316 316L and also Beadalon which is U.S. Those files I spoke of are pretty versitale or you can use the method vapingbad referred to a few comments up. Stainless 316 is great and then the ss430 which I have only used 28g (nickel free) from Unkamen in U.S. was impressive. Now I'm waiting on the larger gauges from CrazyWire with the higher TCR . Anyhow hope that helps you out
  7. Go to post #132 the files are there v3.25 andv3.5
  8. Did you try those csv's I posted up for UD Clapton ? They are earlier on in this thread . UD is probably a wire IMO to stay away from. Jaquith's files that I posted up in previous page will possibly sort it out v1 runs slightly cooler than v2. Also spaced coils with atleast 5 1/2 wrap with 2.5 i.d. Minimum and download the latest service pack on escribe Some have been using SS430 it's available 28g in the U.S. Or from U.K. They have a variety of gauges 20thru31 I have some on its way that has a tcr of 238 which is nice and high compared to the normal 138. But I have had great luck with ss316 also but not UD
  9. nice work!! is that a hammond B
  10. so does anyone know the dimensions on the 250 custom? materials used?
  11. i get a much better vape with both 3.25 and v3.5 with all brands 316 gb chinese or american excluding the UD which he made for.. the roll I got is horrible. I dont trust that wire
  12. yes you need to be careful when entering mod res. and always hard reboot after. it should be in the range of 0.003-0.006 my triade is 0.004 also 420F is about 80 degrees too cool for ss316 and with steam engine and even the manual tcr value of 0.0092 you have to set temp at about 520 before you start getting decent puff. if you go here /topic/66739-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900189 I posted two 316 csv's that are good in the 480-520 range
  13. I am using the csv's that I shared earlier in thread and normally hit temp protection if my set wattage is too high and it has to limit it but vape right around the 485-495 range
  14. whats your MOD resistance? its under manufacturer settings
