  1. yeah there's no amp monitor on the screen or escribe
  2. how you have your diagram will work #11 and #12 are the output voltage to the battery. So you can tie your tp4056's output to #11 and #12 but there is the unknown of if the DNA 60 can handle a current higher of more than a 1Amp
  3. theres a work around that I'm sure will work chunkybutt200 is working on this, he posted a diagram what he's going to do.
  4. The DNA 60 with the evolv charger board, battery % is jumping around also.
  5. There also no amp reading on the DNA 60 screen but it shows that it's charging (I installed drained batts) on the device monitor. Plus how hot can I get the DNA 60 chip? 174.83F on the chip and thats inside the house I hate to see what it might be when its 90F outside. I don't think it likes my .08 TI build
  6. last week a customer at the vape shop wanted a anodize gold dna 200 box mod I was about to install one but the 1/4Kw chip came out. He has no clue that he's getting this chip. I can already see him rubbing it in everyone's face LOL!!! This is how I build my mods with no glue except to hold the screen in.
  7. Here are some profile picks there is a total of 8.
  8. Got my 250 today doing a test run making sure it works. Can't connect to escride I'm sure it will connect once the new version comes out. The board isn't coated cuz of limited run of these, good thing I have some clear electrical lacquer. For a second I thought it was DOA cuz I just connected the USB and nothing was working but when I connected the battery it worked
  9. Got my 60 today doing a test run making sure it works. Can't connect to escride im it will connect once the new version comes out. The board isn't coated cuz of limited run of these good thing I have some clear electrical lacquer
  10. the 200/75 screen position is what I was hoping for easy installation plus it was more of a panic buy. I will be using external buttons I'll make it work I have till Sunday midday to get it into the vape shop. Then I'll have time to get the right layout done.
  11. Here's one more there saying it has a DNA 60 in it https://m.alibaba.com/product/60291853977/electronic-cigarette-china-Kvapor-M7-TC.html
  12. This is throwing me for a loop could be the wording just to get people to look at the web site http://www.21food.com/products/newest-e-cigarette-import-dna-60-chip-,-cpu-temperature-control-60w-mod-,-vw-vaporizer-60w-box-mod-1724618.html
  13. sound good I'll be looking forward to see it. I'm going to be installing this board in a A+ mod that has the cutouts for the 200 I was really hoping the screen position was made like the 200 anyways I'll make look work and look good. I hope there charger board doesn't throw me a wrench in my mod setup cuz I have no clue what it looks like till it gets here
  14. i think 15 is voltage detection like with some USB chargers they need 3V to say it's ok to start charging the ID is not connected in a USB cable
  15. so I would need to jumper 11 and 15 with a 10k if I was to use a tp4056 board? Plus how is the screen going to be placed, hanging down or folded on top that you know of.
  16. I too have wondered if you could feed up to 3/4Kw into the 510 with the board connected but not hit the firing button. I'm looking at making a duel mod part vaporizer, part flashlight I didn't want to go about charging a capacitor (with the esr values low) to power a led with an extra switch.
  17. So as I was running more tests I ended up frying one of my CV/CC boards it was set at 4amps. Good thing I bought 5 of them. But any ways I built a charging station with a blower fan for the 18650's and the lipo pack. The VTC4 charge time was an hour at 2.5amps and the lipo pack (2.2Ah) was 35 mins at 5amps. These CV/CC boards get really warm at a setting of 2.5amps with no heat sink or air flow. The 5.5mm male jack got warm but not hot enough to melt the insulation so I'm leaving it where it's at, I'm at the limit of it being somewhat safe. So much for trying for 6A
  18. Here's a picture of a 5.5mmx2.1mm power jack plug I installed I'll be running more tests on this 3s venom 2.2A battery I should have the final results at the end of next week
  19. Here are the results for the 3s vtc4's the board got really warm at a set point of 2.5 amps. The voltage started to climb and the amps stayed at 2.5 11.46v 2.498A 11.88v red light goes off amps start to drop 12.30v 1A 12.44v 500mA 12.5v 350mA 12.52v 270mA blue light goes off green light comes on 12.55v 200mA 12..58v 100mA 12.6v 80mA the amps kept dropping but I took it off and put it on the nicore charger and it said it was done. So the total time was about 1.5hrs having the board set to 12.6v 2.5 amps A single 18650 vtc4 with the board set at 4.2v 2.5 amps started out at 3.1v at 2.5 amps then at 4.01v 2.5amps red light goes off in about 30secs amps start to drop tell the green light comes on around 4.1v and the amps drop from there.
  20. These little boards came in the mail today I'll be trying them out once I have some dead batteries
  21. I'll buy a few of them tomorrow and try them out. Thanks for posting the info :-)
  22. After doing more research I think I found the right charging components what do you guys think? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281843079093 http://www.batterysupports.com/liion-lipo-126v-108v-5a-3s-wall-socket-battery-charger-ac-dc-p-336.html
  23. i think .18 amps is right and it was at the end of the charge cycle. When I first started charging the amp meter was reading 97.4 even if I moved the point over to 9.74 that's still not right coming from a 12v 3a PS the volts were climbing normal so I let it get close to being fully charged then tested it with the meter then put them on the nitcore charger, it was giving them .05 amps so the board is doing its job. When my batteries are drained I'll try just the MM. I think having a better fixed PS (12v 5a that I just ordered should be here next week) will be better. But like I said I'm only using the fast charge for when I'm pressed for time or if I forget to charge it, my main changing will be from the USB port.
  24. I've been running some tests on this charging board and come to fine out that my cheap $10 amp meter is junk. So I'll be doing more test with my multimeter
  25. Yeah I know my nitcore charger Max's out at 750ma then slows down when it's about charged and my tp4056 charging boards do the same. This board does the same but you have to have your voltage set. The amp meter's decimal point is in the wrong place the last pic is reading .26ma the amps will slowly go to zero it just takes a little longer do so Edited....those 18650 batts I was playing around with the voltage so it's not really accurate the lipo pack is what it suppose to look like I ordered a 12v 5amp nonajustable PS so I'll see if it's more stable
