  1. Evolv has the Best customer service hands down Here's a link to vote for them for the best of 2015. Go vote I did http://guidetovaping.com/guidetovapings-best-of-2015/
  2. Is this project even worth anyones time? I could see if you were making some thing unique or some thing thats not readily available out there. These mods are available for purchase with a DNA 200, Why buy the cheep mod, a chip and do all this modding, to save 25 bucks? Complete waste of time IMO. Just buy one with a DNA200
  3. Is there any end in sight to this shortage? It will sure be nice when large screens are readily available again
  4. This interest me I just ordered a Crown and I would like to try and rebuild the coil heads myself. I know you can get an RBA section, I find with my sub tanks rebuilding there coil head works better. Does anyone here use SS wire? Were is a good place to buy some 316 SS wire. Is 316 a good choice? what gauge is good to use for SS wire? any help is appreciated Thanks in advance
  5. I made a Faux Beta Box with a 3D printed enclosure. The battery came from Evolv FullyMax FB900HP-3S It's nice and small see comparison to Hana Box & Gdna I'm not really talented like some of the mod builders here but I enjoy it
  6. I really like NI200 lately I have been using Ti and find it's easier to work with. I get a more stable consistent ohm reading. This goes for the DNA 40's to. I make a spaced coil and don't dry burn them
  7. Very Sweet turbocad6 More like Art work than a mod. What kind of battery life are you getting? just curious.
  8. A little confused. Is the diagram in post 66 or 69 correct?
  9. Can someone make a wiring digram for how to connect the battery sled to a DNA 200 for a dual 18650 mod. Please and thanks I'm considering a dual 18650 version of a DNA 200 mod. Just want to get it straight in my head how it's wired
  10. I had one malfunction yesterday. I built this one a little over a week ago. It is in a 3D printed box and use's a Gens Ace 1300mAH battery. From what I'v read it has a burnt fuse and possibly some other issue that caused it. This particular board was doing some thing a little odd, every once and a while it would power way up and the hit off it would be so hot I could barely stand it. Nothing would change in escribe or on screen but the vape was different . Then as mysteriously as it came it would go and the board would seem fine. Then yesterday during one of it's mystery power up episodes it stopped working. Rite as I was taking a really hot hit. At first I connected it to the USB and opened escribe and nothing it was dead. So upon further inspection it appeared that the fuse had blown. I did a bit of reading and read that if the fuse was blown that escribe would still recognize the board. I reattached to the USB and open escribe the screen came on but escribe would not recognize it, it had no battery attached at this point. I connected the battery back to the mod and plugged it back into the usb, opened escribe and the screen came on the board was recognized by escribe. I was able to connect and down load settings. At first it pop up an error saying eprom could not be read. But on a second attempt the error went away. Everything seemed normal at this point, so I tried to attach an atty while it was still connected to the USB and it would go dead rite away, also as soon as I disconnected the USB it would go dead to. Here's a Pic of the fuse it.s a little hard to tell from the pic but the top is blown rite off So now I put in an inquire at the Evolv site and am waiting for a reply. FYI the one that blew the fuse was running a dual coil TI build at .1 I was using a custom CSV file from Steam engine site. I have another mod exactly the same I put together just a few days ago. It is working perfectly for 3 day now running dual NI 200 coils at .08 Here' a pic of the good one
  11. Thank You Brandon The good news is, I got the screen's attached on the other 2 and there all updated and ready to go
  12. I just received my chips today (3) I tried to install the screen on the first one and I chipped off most of the top flap I tried to gently press down on the flap with my finger nail. Not a good Idea I guess There is a little of the flap left, wondering if it's still useable? Maybe I can glue the screen on?
