1. I finally got around to cracking open this clacker I had. It just beckoned to have something powerful like DNA 200 in it. But there is no way to cram everything in it!
2. I think what the post refers to is that you need to set your MBP to run windows 7 or later. You can use bootcamp, parallels or something similar since the download is not Mac compatible at this moment. Personally, I just dug out an old netbook. A dedicated DNA 200 Laptop? LOL... Don't judge me!
3. Too bad. That was a work of art... Can't wait to see what you have coming
4. Not sure if anyone has seen this yet, but Protovapor has their version available: XPV DNA-200D | Protovapor.com
5. You should still be able to see them... Check out page 7 of the DNA200 data sheet
6. To answer your first question: Yes, a quick double press of + or - while in power lock mode will bring up the profiles. Use + or - to toggle through them and press the fire button to select
7. Connected when updating the escribe executable not the fw, that's how I read it, but could be wrong.
Yes, EScribe was already updated. The failed update was of the firmware. Sorry for the confusion.
Sorry my bad, you know what they say about assumption, sometimes Windows is too slow assigning drivers and can do it if it is a known device just on a different port.
Windows can sure be wonky that way... Since I'm a Mac user, had to dig out an old netbook of mine to run the software so that just adds to the slowness. I wanted to run it natively and not through parallels or bootcamp.

9. Hold up, doesn't the device need to be connected to update the firmware? Or am I missing something...
10. You are right, it was connected! Not doing that again Regardless, it's working now. I'll search the forum, but where are the settings saved?
11. Just tried the new update, 2015-08-05 EScribe, 2015-07-29 R1 firmware. It forced a new USB driver install that put EScribe into a "not responding" state. Bricked my V200. Closed everything through task manager and re-opened. Using the tools menu, I forced the firmware upgrade and everything is up and running. However, I lost all data and settings... like a factory reset! BTW, running Win7 32bit
12. Is everyone forgetting it's also a beta unit from Hana. Their production model likely will be different from what's available now
Been meaning to ask because I've seen a statement like this on a couple forums: How do you know this is a beta from Hana? Nothing on their site alludes to this. I was privileged enough to get a response once and they avoided this topic like the plague!
