  1. I find the 510 threads are a tiny bit rough once my atty gets close to the bottom and be careful of scratching the top as the 510 is flush, battery life is good, @55w on a dual twisted TI coil setup i can get around 320 puffs, my dual 18650 DNA200 will do around 400 with the same, but the let down is recharge time is horrible with the lipo....
  2. Have you run the Watt Hour Calculator and entered the correct mAh and nominal voltage for your setup ?
  3. I made a template in Paint shop Pro, 4000/1000, i add my images and text and then resize to 128/32 then save, works a treat.
  4. Where are they in stock at? Would like to grab a few. Also, here is the ammo can power supply. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cosel/PBA1500F-12/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMsPs3th5F8koMdmNRcX8UdIkKh46IJzk6xYI%2ff6%2fXG47A%3d%3d[/QUOTE] I got mine from Vapegeek.co.uk, only the silver and black in stock at the time which was yesterday morning.
  5. I got mine this morning having ordered it yesterday morning from vapegeek.co.uk
  6. I got mine this morning, nice little mod, i had the Esquard and its a taller but still a good fit in the hand. Heres a picture of it beside my 1550p Dual 18650 DNA200, for comparison, its only slightly taller and wider than the 1550p box, but same depth...
  7. Run the Watt hour Calculator, input 900mAh and 11.1 volt, it should set the WH to 9.99, this should sort your battery meter out, but make sure you have the latest Firmware installed.
  8. The light just went out on the supplied charger so ive plugged the battery into the chip half and connected to Escribe and all looking good, all three cells at 4.19v or 4.2v
  9. Cheers VapingBad, ill give the supplied charger and hours use and test, if it still does not register charge via USB ill give that a try
  10. Just got my DX200, Updated the firmware to the latest via Escribe, the device Monitor show each cell around 1.74v and the pack at around 4.7v, plugging it into a USB charger from my Samsung Mobile and I have the charge display set to show amps being used and its showing 000A, does not appear to be charging, so i have plugged in the supplied charger to see if an hour or so on it will bring the battery to charge...
  11. Forgot to say, for the B- and tab 0 (G in the picture), i also just ran solder between the two.
  12. I have only had that error once on my DNA200, it was the USB cable, it was twisted and as such was putting horizontal force on the socket, once i un-twisted the cable to remove the twisting force, i re connected and its worked fine since, so make sure there is no tension in your USB cable or try a new USB cable.
  13. Hi, i just wired it as per the picture attached. As the space between the B+ and tab 3 & 2 were so close, i did not use wire to join them, instead i just ran solder down from the B+ to the 3 & 2 tabs in one run.
  14. What actually is the issue with the 510 on the hotcig DX200?, I have one on order and have some experience with building my own mods, so I can probably change it for a varitube or fat daddy 510, but is the 510 that bad on it that it needs changed?
  15. cheers, the up/down buttons are Vamo buttons, the Fire button came out of the Cloupor Mini I had spare after I previously upgraded with it a DNA40 and tactile buttons... just had to glue a small plastic washer on the back of it to reach the onboard button.
  16. Ive not had any issues with mine in dual 18650... device monitor shows the Cell Pack correctly and the two other cells, but cell 3 always shows a random low voltage, as for cell cut off, I set mine to 3.2v and low an behold, when I started to get the Weak Battery message I ran the device monitor and could see both Cells at 3.5v, but when I took a puff it dropped to 3.2v... so spot on I thought? With regard to reverse battery protection, Evolv said there is none when using dual 18650 and that is why they will be releasing an add in board just for that, though like I said, ive put mine in wrong twice and the chip is still working a week later...
  17. Ive put my batteries in wrong twice now, the second time i did not notice straight away, one battery got rather hot and the second got warm, i just pulled them and left it to cool. The first time there were no ill effects, the second time when the batteries got hot... the device was a bit flaky for a while, would not power up or would come on and go straight off, but after leaving the batteries out for an hour... its been working as normal since.
  18. Yeah I have that box, the standard sled I used in this one fits into it with ease and a few ml off three corners of the sled allow it to fit tight to one side flush, and leaves good room for the chip, wires and 510..
  19. I have seen that sled and it is small, but you still need to be able to get a battery between the corner posts, certainly on the CNC version it should be ok, but the original 1550p will need some post grinding.
  20. I have been using a Lemo 2 on TC for months now with Ni200 and about 3 weeks on Titanium, even got a second one a few weeks ago, only time ive had a bad hit is when the ohms have been off due to selecting new coil when I should have said old, though my second Lemo 2 was rather jumpy at first on the DNA200 until I reversed the 510 pin in the base, now its spot on.
  21. You might get away with less modding, but in the standard 1550p Hammond I used is Very tight, you might still need to grind out the bottom corner post, but hard to say without seeing one of these printed sleds in place.
  22. Cheers for the link, thats a nice box, shame is not a tab shorter, but i do like it and a good price
  23. Nice mod, ive seen the same looking one on ebay for sale, it there somewhere you can buy that box or are you the one selling it on ebay? As for the battery meter, have you run the watt hour calculator and set it up?
  24. Well its a very tidy build still, nicely done Is that the Mamu faceplate, ive just ordered one for the CNC 1550p box im hoping to build, i tried to cut out the holes and screen etc but my template must have moved and they dont line up, so im hoping to save the box by using the faceplate.
