I've bought and sold a few DNA40's (and a couple of SX350 mods) but I've kept all my DNA200 and DNA75 mods.

Here's 2 DNA40's I built and still use (Cloupor clone and Fasttech mini clone). The 2 other DNA40's are VS DNA40 and rDNA40:

I see a DNA 60 in your future.
  2. I also downloaded escribe v1.2
Now that Device Monitor is a separate application, you need to add a disconnect device button. You can't switch between devices without restarting Device Monitor.

Also, once this version is tested, please clean up all the links to the other versions. If someone buys a DNA200 right now, they will go to your webpage and download SetupES.exe even though the newer version SetupES75 works on both the 75 and 200 and now you have this third version. You have so many versions of EScribe and firmware that you are confusing the heck out of the new users.

  3. Lets word it in an other way. In escribe there is no way to see what tcr value you have set to a particular material. EScribe only shows tfr graphs.

The 0.006 you keep seeing is a new tcr value that escribe will use to convert into a tfr graph IF you press the OK button. EScribe has no idea what your current tcr value is. It does however remember the last value you entered until you restart escribe, then it goes back to the default value of 0.006

  4. Your not the only one this has happened to. The only real fix is to RMA the chip. One work around that has help some people is to increase the number of clicks to lock the device.
My Vaporshark does the same thing. It will lock mid puff and the 5 clicks do not show up in device monitor. I feel this could be fixed by firmware, by telling it that there must be X amount of milliseconds between clicks.

  5. I never said it would be recommended if you want an accurate wattage calculation. I'm just telling you how to get 9 volts output. The DNA board only outputs voltage, any adjustments for mod resistance or temperature protection has to be subtracted from that voltage. I don't quite understand why you want 9 volts so bad, if you want power, drop your resistance a bit and hit it at 200 watts. Maybe you have a possible bug fix where the 9 volt wall is based off of your raw resistance not the calculated resistance.

Are the most commonly recommended upgrade packs suitable for somebody who can't soder or anything? I want to safely unplug the wires, remove the pack, and replace it. Then simply screw it back together. I'm looking for 40C and 1100mAh if it fits nicely, otherwise I'd insist on a 1400mAh or greater pack. I have an Hcigar VT 200 and word has it the official upgrade pack is out of production. just my luck...as soon as I get it too. 40c is a must. I paid for power and sacrificed mAh and think if these option are available, I'm into it. If there's a better DNA 200 mod under 180 bucks or so, with a perfectly fitting battery pack, let me know because I want more amperage. Thanks.

It doesn't quite work like that. The DNA board draws the amps from the battery, the battery does not push amps into the board. Using a 70C battery will be of no benefit because the max the board will draw from the battery is 23 amps.

If you don't know how to solder, you'll have to go with the Hcigar replacement because your not going to find any lipo packs with a 30 amp - XT30 connector.
