Stuck mine in a VTbox200 for now until my enclosure is done, will post an updated pic when done.

Going to do battery analyser next to double check, but changing cut off voltage, seems to of helped, mine is also a brand new lipo so im hoping a couple charges can solve it, if not, new battery it is...

Placed back into DNA250, drained battery to half, used diagnostic to check battery levels, all balanced, so its happening towards the last half of battery im assuming, changed cut off from 3.09 to 3.3 and going to see what its displays when 'dead' and charging.

Hey guys, Anyone here played with the DNA250 yet? Hooked up a 3S turnigy lipo 1300mah, Noticed everytime i charge it via usb, they volts are uneven, cell one 3.47 volt, cell 2 3.43 and cell 3 was 3.17, Put the lipo onto my DNA200 board, charged it, used it till cut off, all blanched. Hope someone knows something. Thanks

Hello, not sure where to post requests for updates, so i'll put it here. Got my 250 board yesterday, saved my settings from my Lost Traide dna200 board as i always do when owning a new 200 to save time and its set up just how i like it, then tweak case settings etc. Yesterday i noticed when trying to import to the dna250 i get a message saying 'DNA250 is plugged in, settings for DNA200' (along the lines) I have a couple people lined up for 250 who also own 200's, would love to be able to save 200 settings and escribe takes whats needed to basically 'clone' the 200 across to the 250, excluding things like case settings etc. Thanks

Thanks guys, Installed the 250board into a VTbox for now to make sure shes all working whilst i put her through tests. All working great so far. One feature id like to see is, to be able to save a DNA200 board settings, wire presets etc etc and be able to import them across to the DNA250, iv tried but get a message saying a DNA250 is plugged in and not a DNA200.

@ChunkyButt200 From what i can see, the screen just stays black, as if its dead. Not a fan of this feature i must admit, heart stopped for awhile haha.

Ah thats a shame. Thanks for the heads up though. Do you know if they will implement this in a later firmware?

Hey Group. Got the DNA250 board, Like all boards i receive i hook them via USB to check bits. All DNA200's screens light up when connected VIA usb and no battery, but my DNA250, the screen comes on but no backlight, is this a faulty screen? Thanks.

They was, but stupid me pressed the reset button without taking a backup. Thanks for the info BillW50

Solved the problem (i think) After changing coils from 2week old ones (eeek) Temp is back up and running, must be from the coils been gunked up and me not remembering to rebuild.

Lost Vape Triade, Not set mod resistance as I cant seem to find them nor the thermal ones. I think this the problem.

Updated to SP3 for temp function. Sadly with all same settings as last firmware and settings, I'm endlessly getting temp protect, when it does decide to work, My temp is set to 298C, when it fires, its displaying 4719C! is it me doing something wrong?. Checked coils, checked for lose coils, left to get to room temp. Think I may go back to previous firmware as i feel i have lost temp mode now.

Seems to of sorted its self which is good. but oddly, im endlessly getting Temp Protection and not firing.

Thanks for replying VapingBad. I used the soft reboot on my Triade and VTbox for battery and worked on both thanks. Ahh theres my problem, im not locking my ohms, i'll have to try that and see what happens. Do you know why my VTbox will show Current on Power mode display and Temp in temp mode display, but my Triade will show current on all my screens even in Temp Mode. Was wanting this feature and good too see it's been implemented.

I know the SP3 firmware has bugs, but unsure if these have been mentioned at all. I like SS316L and decided to update so I could get full potential from SS316L in tmp mode. When firing, my Temp changes from 280C to OFF, anyone know why? Also, I spotted in the new escribe software there are now options for Temp Screen and Power Screen (sweet!) On power mode screen, i chose Current to be shown, and on Temp Screen i chose Temp to be shown, but even with SS316L in Temp mode, it's still showing Cuurent, Anyone know how to resolve this or is this due to SS316L been able to be used in Power Mode and confusing the DNA200 Board? Still new to DNA and been given a vtbox, what is thermal settings please?

Had fuse replaced today by someone else, was too tricky for me, works, boy boy is it a bad job its not flush like the stock one, but it works.

Thanks BillW50. Spotted the fuse has blown, ordered a couple and will fit one soon as they arrive, fingers crossed this solves it.

A friend has passed over me his VTbox200, will only turn on when plugged in via usb, the charged lipo battery is not been detected and sometimes a Warrenty service logo will appear. Any ideas? Thanks

Your mod will be fine, im going to jump the gun and confirm its your tank, I help out now and again at a vape shop and the amount of times i have heard and seen this is stupid, it has also happened to my wife. The cause is the pin on the tank, its cheap metal and eventually it compresses, what you have also spotted is what i was about to comment, your ohms will read oddly, this is due to the pin been compressed and making a slight connection to the negative giving a false reading, soon it will just die and not pickup on any mod. My suggestion is get your self a semi decent tank, Aspire Cleito is a cheapish good tank. Now you have a DNA, dont put Kanger junk on it, make the most of your DNA experience.
