Here's my 1590G/DNA200/1000mah mod. It took a lot longer to build than I anticipated, nothing unusual about that. The basics were no screws through the case while still retaining the battery securely for safety and being able to easily dis-assemble in case of problems or failure. That lead to a lot of JB weld and time waiting for that to harden, a day at a time, for all the brackets needed to accomplish that. Then I got distracted when making the template for the face and offset the display window 2mm closer to the fire button rather than further from the fire button to simplify cable management for the display. That lead to cutting out the display window in the box to accept the complete display module and making a trim piece for the face with the display window in the right location. That, of course, added more "machining" time and another day of JB weld curing for that trim piece. It's not "perfect" but it's close enough and I'm satisfied. It is heavier than I expected but that is no deal breaker. If I ever get ambitious I may replace the aluminum buttons with brass buttons, but the aluminum works fine for me. Keep in mind, I'm not a machinist and only have a drill press, Dremel, hacksaw and files to work with for machining. The internals -
