About This File

This is a fully configured Escribe settings file for the new Lost Vape Therion DNA 75C. The mod basically came unconfigured at the stock board settings which was surprising. This config file has been meticulously configured, and includes the following highlights:

  • All 8 profiles configured, with:
    • 3 temp control profiles for favorite atomizer and build combos. My go-to is the Pharaoh RTA as the primary profile, plus the Crown III and the SMOK Baby Beast for emergencies while traveling
    • 5 power-only profiles, at presets of 35, 40, 45, 50 watts
  • Includes my posted DNA 75C Enhanced Default Theme v2.2 which greatly expands the stock theme's capabilities
  • Standard materials plus two SS316L materials, one curve and one TCR set at 0.00094
  • Mod fully configured:
    • Battery Analyzer run for dual HohmTech Life 3000mah 18.04wh 18650's
    • Cell Soft Cutoff set to lower limit of these 18650's at 2.9v to protect the batteries
    • Input currents set for battery safety based on Mooch's test results
    • Output currents set at DNA 75C spec sheet typical rating
    • Mod internal resistance measured with copper plug at 0.004 ohms
    • Case Analyzer run at 73 degF ambient, averaged over 3 runs

Hi what soft cell cutoff would you recommend for a dual vtc6? Any other changes would i need to make as batteries run out quite fast on my 75c.

I use 2.75 on my Therion 75C with 2 VTC6s. I think the soft cutoff is the cutoff under load i.e. while you're firing not the resting voltage. The board itself has a hard limit of 3.0v according to the spec sheet (resting voltage not voltage under load). From what I've read 2.75 is fine for the soft cutoff using VTC6s. Using a higher soft cutoff will increase the overall lifespan of your batteries but using a lower cutoff will get you more time out of a single charge. I wouldn't go below 2.75 though.

Also, you're battery gauge/battery percent may be inaccurate if the discharge curve is not designed for your model of battery. I've attached the curve I use for 2 VTC6s, you can load it in Escribe using the "Load CSV" under the discharge profile graph in the mod tab, this helps to make the battery gauge more accurate :)

I'm not an expert and I could be wrong. Someone please correct me if so.

Hi Jake,

thanks so much for all the info. Another question though, does the 75c usually runs out of battery this fast?

How fast is fast? It really depends on what wattage you vape at, how often you vape, and how healthy your batteries are.

I'm vaping at 40 watts with a brand new vtc6. It last for about a day at most. Battery drops by about 5% just by leaving it by itself and i do have it on stealth mode.

I get about a day out of mine, vaping anywhere between 45-75W using 2 VTC6s. I usually have another set of batteries charged and ready to go.
It's difficult to tell if your batteries are draining too fast as everybody has a different style of vaping. As an example - if you were to vape solely at 40W on a fully charged pair of VTC6s I would expect you would get somewhere around 1,600 seconds total puff time. Divide this by the average time of your puffs to figure out roughly how many puffs you can expect out of a full charge. My puffs are always around the 3.5 second mark so 1600/3.5=457. Obviously if you up the wattage you will get less battery life and vice versa.

You should check the voltage on both batteries when they appear to need charged to make sure the mod is actually operating using both.

There have been situations in the past where only one battery was running the mod even though 2 batteries were present. Easy enough to check.

I wouldn't really recommend it; a different mod and battery will have differences in thermal profile, battery profile, internal resistance, etc. Would be better to configure the Boxer by hand using EScribe's case and battery analyzers.

Technically you could use these settings as a starting point. However, as the squonker is a different mod, the following settings should be changed:

internal mod resistance

mod thermal profile

battery profile for your specific batteries

Okay, thank you for getting back too me so quickly. Do you know of any forums or anything on here that might have the accurate  settings for the Therion  75c Squonker??

You can search around the forum; know this is a popular squonk mod. If you can’t find anything, keep the mod internal resistance at the factory setting if it came with one; if not, set to 0.0034; that’s 85% of .004, which is on par for all lost Vape mods that I’ve seen. 

You can then run a thermal analysis using Escribe;  very easy to do.

For battery profile, you can just use the Escribe default for an 18650.
