Vaperz Cloud HOG (Hammer Of God) DNA 400 With X-Tra Clarity 2.0.0

Every single DNA250C with 4 batteries in series can hit 400 watts just as easily/capably as that HOG.
That theme, which is really just a new wallpaper is mainly the Evolv default and can be used on any DNA color mod.

being a "senior member", I'm sure you'll understand that there are a range of Evolve product users, from new, to basic right on through to the "experienced".

The HOG DNA 400, as you may or may not know, comes with 2 wallpapers and the second wallpaper can make it difficult to read the information, so yes, I "modified it" in revision 1.0.0 to make it easier to see, then in this revision I added a "last puff" display.  Of course, it may be seen as "simple", but to new or inexperienced users, they may not feel confident messing around with the designer and just want to upload something on to their device with no issues, hence why I felt it might be useful for others if I uploaded them.

With regard to "Every single DNA250C with 4 batteries in series can hit 400 watts just as easily as that HOG", that may well be the case, however it is left as more of a disclaimer.

If someone choses to use this on another prodct, that's their choice, but this is designed on and for the HOG device and anyone looking for a specific HOG DNA 400 theme for that mod, especially if it is their first DNA device can find it easily.

Hi, the only question left is what relevance the topic 4 cells / 400 watts actually has for the theme ... Not even the individual voltages of the cells are evaluated, so this theme doesn’t care how many cells are used. A theme is nothing more than a graphical front end and cannot enable the chipset to do anything that the Evolv developers did not plan.

The relevence is that this is a 4 cell device with a DNA 400C. That is how it is stated in all documentation.  Wheter it actually be a DNA250c which has been modified by the product manufacturer is neither here nor there.

Most interfaces are purely graphical, that's the joy of themes which is all this is really.  Some like the addidtion of having 4 cells on display, others don't.  It is purely personal.  Download it, or don't.  31 people (at time of replying) have thought they like the idea of 4 battery cells as a graphic,

Much in the same way, some people are constructive whilest others are lonely, opionated keyboard warriors.

Don't like it, don't use it. simple.

Wayneo, fet over yourself.  Like it or not, the regulated Vaperz Cloug Hog device is listed as a DNA 400c device.  Whether it be a modified 250c is neither here nor there. The OP hasn't just made it up on the spot.  They have posted as published, in order that those with the same product can find what they need.

 

As for the "theme".  Well to be honest most "themes" are just different wallpapers.  If you don't like it, don't download it.  Simple.

As a moderator (formally senior member) I and others would expect a little more decorum and respect for users of all walks of the vaping world.

Here is the Data Sheet for the 250C.  Lots of info if you care to read it.  Also includes a wiring diagram for 2,3,4 cell devices. There is no 400C circuit board, just a 250C board that can function as a 400 watt device depending on how it is configured.

Don't take this wrong but the barbs you throw in several posts aren't constructive.  I see you just recently joined us, a friendly bunch around here, and I want to WELCOME you.

In the past 10 years of trying to help folks with DNA stuff I have come to the conclusion that when they have trivial issues or trivial questions, they are not trivial to them or they would not have posted..  The only stupid question/issue is the one that never gets asked or posted. 😊

I have been using a Theme with my 4-cell 250C (configured 400 watts) for over a year. It was one of the first Themes, designed by others, to display 4 cells.  I saved the theme from my device and attach it here in case you want to look at it. A very comprehensive theme with loads of features.

I be counting 4, yes four times they name the board/chipset.
