Anti burn confusion?

The pod used is an anti-burn pod designed for the oxva xlim pro 2. The previous pod worked excellently. However, this pod, which is from the same pack, did not work as an anti-burn pod. I have updated the device's program to 130.1INT.

I've found if the wattage is too high and the airflow is too low, the coil overheats and says, "fill pod" despite there being enough liquid. 

All fill pod means is the coil got too hot because a) too high wattage and not enough airflow or b) there really isn't enough liquid, causing the coil to run too hot. You can experiment with the wattage and airflow until the message stops popping up.

Under the 'safety' tab in escribe, you can adjust that 'fill pod' sensitivity or even turn it off. BUT IT IS WORKING (high watts, low airflow) as you've found out, caused by the wicking not able to keep up.

I think the message shown when the coil overheats could be a bit more generic like "Antiburn protection". A lot of people see fill pod and only look at how much e liquid is in the tank and don't realize that it might only be about their wattage airflow setup. Some clear info provided by Oxva in the box the device comes in as to the reasons why "fill pod" may be displayed would be very helpful.

Can I ask, why on Earth would you put the pod in a scenario like that on purpose? 

What you described was purposely putting it in a high stakes scenario where your purposely way outside of pod specs and what it was designed to operate at. 

If you close the airflow on any pod system with anti-burn and set the wattage Way high, there is a limit to what technology can fix on the fly for you. I don't even believe you got a bad pod, I believe you're essentially testing the limits of these pods and it's not going so well for you. Precisely why we don't recommend doing that.

As for the messages you're getting for error;

This is the great thing about DNA boards they have a tool called escribe, and if you're knowledgeable enough, within a scribe and then again within theme designer you can change the circumstances in which a message will pop up saying whatever you'd like it to say. Now of course that's a highly advanced change for a user to make but completely doable. I'm not recommending you do it in fact I'm recommending you stop trying to find the limit of the pod and just enjoy the device and I'm sure anti-burn will work just fine but if you insist, I have provided you with a solution that fits your wants.

For a lay person who didn't develop this device and for whom its meaning isn't always obvious (like when the pod is already full), the message "fill pod" isn't very self-explanatory and there is no documentation to shed light on how it actually works under the hood. I wrote this moreso for other people like myself who didn't get it at first. 

Oxva created a video that shows how it works quite nicely in the Oxva Xlim pro 2 dna.
