dna60c Battery Weak Problem on DNA60c

I’m using a Rekavape mod with a DNA60C board, mainly for temperature control (TC) and Replay vaping. However, I’m experiencing a recurring “Battery Weak” error that appears intermittently — roughly once every 4–5 puffs.

The battery I’m using is a Molicel P28. I regularly use the same battery in my Dani SBS and Dani Mini (both Dicodes boards), and in those devices it performs perfectly with no errors, no voltage sag issues, and no cutoffs.

On the DNA60C device, however, the behavior is different. 

The coil resistance is stable, vape is not excessively high wattage, same setup works flawlessly on other boards, contacts are clean. 

I have already tried the following: Restored the device to default factory settings, re-checked battery condition and wraps, tested with the same battery that works fine on other mods.

Is there any known fix, setting adjustment, calibration, or firmware-related solution for this?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Can you post a full Device Monitor screenshot, enable volts, power and power set only, while taking a few puffs. At the 'battery weak' puff, hover over the volts (black line) and click at the lowest point.

Hello, sorry for the late response. wasn’t able to connect the device all day, but I’ve just been able to connect it now.

I’m attaching the Device Monitor screenshots, the EScribe eCig backup, and photos of the device screen.

I’m using Resistherm NiFe30 wire, but I experience the same issue with all other wires as well. When the voltage reaches around 3.8 V, the device starts behaving erratically.

My firmware version is 1.75. After experiencing issues following the update, I reverted to the previous firmware version, but the problem still remains. The device consistently starts having problems once it reaches approximately 3.8 V.

This behavior is also visible in Device Monitor, where the voltage readings can be seen. Everything is clean and properly connected, and there are no visible hardware issues.

The device does not show any errors while connected via USB, which is why I’ve included the warnings that appear after unplugging the USB cable. The device displays “Check Battery” and “Weak Battery” warnings.

To clarify, there are no issues when the battery is fully charged. When the error occurs, I remove the same battery and insert it into my Dani mod, where it works perfectly without any problems. This confirms that the battery itself is not faulty.

That's pretty horrendous battery sag you're showing. That's close to 1 volt sag.I do not think it 's a board issue at all, and is a mod build issue. It could be all of those mods or just yours. I would return it to place of purchase for a refund or replacement.

Thank you so much, but unfortunately I no longer have the option to return it. I don’t know what kind of solution I can come up with. I guess there’s no choice but to open the mod and check the cables and solder joints. If anyone else has experienced this and solved it, I’m waiting for their comments.

What model mod is it and how is the battery door done? Is is a screw in cap or a battery door. While I can only guess from here I'd say there is a good chance the battery is not being held tight enough. If a cap it may bottom out in it's threads before getting tight against the cell or if a door, well same not tight enough.

I expected it was a Dani mini but it appears to be another rendition.
