Dovpo Riva Battery 4% Bug?

Hello. I'm suddenly having problems with my Dovpo Riva. The device says the battery only has 4%. 

I charge my batteries in an external charger. The batteries are fully charged and technically fine, and are recognized perfectly by every other device. 

I've already completely disassembled the Dovpo Riva and checked it for liquid or corrosion. No liquid has penetrated and the board also looks fine. 

I then downloaded the eScribe software. The device is recognized and can be read. Installing the latest firmware was also not a problem. 

I can't find any problem. Perhaps someone here has an idea how to solve this problem.

Did you ever click 'Restore Defaults' in escribe?

I need you to go into escribe (with mod plugged in), then start 'Device Monitor' and do a full screenshot. No need to take a puff.

Yes. Before i installed the actual firmware, i do a complete reset.

There's all sorts going on there. You need to change your battery specs back to normal. For 'size class' that should be back at 'normal', and 'cell soft cutoff' 2.75 volts. Then 'upload settings to mod'

From 'Device Monitor', look at your 'cell 2' it's showing 1.1v. That is the problem. 

Unplug mod, physically swap your battery positions in the mod. Plug mod back in restart esribe -> device monitor.

If cell 2 still shows a low voltage it is your mod wiring or connection.

If cell 1 is now low it is a dead battery.

Thanks. Yes. It is not the battery. If swap them, always Cell2 shows smaller voltage.

So we know the Battery is Ok and there is a Problem by wiring or bord.

I check all cables. There is nothing wrong. Is it possible that the bord have defects?

What can i do to find out?

Definitely not a bug, not a board problem. Wiring or connector problem. Do you have a multimeter?

I have never seen the innards of a Riva, but you could check the voltage shown for cell 2, and what the board sees.

The Cells are fine. I use an external charger.(xtar VC45L) with complete battery-health-check.

So i disassemble my Riva tommorow again. Then i do some pictures and test all wires by multimeter again. I hope i can rescue my vape.

The bottom of the board has like a little longer section. Is there a white (JST) connector there, or are there some thin wires directly attached to the board? Just a photo or 2 of that area would be good.

I am not shure but i think i found the "bug"!

There is a little red cable wich have no contact to the board. I think it should go the first pin at the same side.

I solved the cable. But the board show the same wrong mesurement as before.

I dont know what to do. Now i think the board is broken.

Either with wire or solder bridge.  G and B- need to be bridged together. Then 2,3, 4 and B+ need to be bridged together.

The yellow is cell #1 positive.

Hi.. i sold it like your picture. Now intern at the Diagnosticscreen from Vape it shows 7.2 Volts but at normal screen it shows 4% and check batteries.

You really need to redo that soldering or clean it up so solder is only each pad from ground, pin 1, and pin2.

Should the red line only going to pin 2 or should it bridged with pin 3 + 4?

I interpret the circuit diagram that red is bridged with pin 2 + 3 + 4

And yellow with pin 1 and black goes to gnd.

B- and G ground is cell 1 negative. Pin 1 is cell 1 positive and cell 2 negative. Yes, Pin 2 is cell 2 positive and needs to be bridged to 2-4 plus B+ like you have. But you need to clean it up. I also worry about all that exposed wire on the red.

When you're done, use your multimeter and measure Ground + Pin1 (cell 1 voltage), then Pin1 + Pin2 (cell 2 voltage).

Cell 1 - 4.18V

Cell 2 - 4,19V

Cell 1 + 2 - 8,38V

But in eScribe it shows complete wrong Volts.
