TonyB
I have a new mod that I can't seem to connect properly to my PC or Escribe (its not being seen by the PC). I thought it might be a cable issue as the USB C port is quite tight but I have tried filing down the plastic on one of my cables to allow the plug to go in fully but it still won't connect. The mod does power on when connected but its not connecting fully, the PC doesn't see it. I have tried a different quality cable as well but it still won't connect. I have the latest version of Escribe 2.0 SP57 installed. Other mods connect just fine. Thoughts on this please.
Wayneo
What mod do you have? Maybe just flip the cable around where you insert it into the mod Try to plug in to your PC directly, not using a hub.

Its a cable issue as far as we can tell. The use their own USB C port and some cables work and some don't they are looking in to it to find out which cable to use. Not ideal but I have been in contact with them and they didn't realise that this was an issue.
Wayneo
Good to hear you're working with them, especially now knowing it's not an Evolv data/charger board. Not all cables are the same and the gyrations just so that cable can be used in either orientation, is why I suggested you just try flipping it. While I only have a few 'C' devices, i have found that issue with cheaper non Apple cables with my phone. Good luck with that new boro mod. That's the new one with a 510 connector? Hussar are a good bunch, they will figure it out. Annoyingly I bought a decent quality cable from Anker and it didn't work, I did try and flip it. Yes its the Boro type device with the New Cimi connection system
