Replay issues with high variable resistance coil

Recommended Posts

Wasn't paying attention when i was wrapping my coil and wrapped it 7 times... and i accidentally twisted a leg. the resistance is reading .268 ~ .357 ss316l 26gx2 36gx1

If I set the coil resistance to .268 the chip reads the coil as 350F at idle and refuses to apply more than 5 watts of power

If i set the coil resistance to .300 replay functions as expected while the coil is still warm, once the coil cools down it throttles.

Never had this issue before, would increasing the ohm lock range resolve this issue? Or should i just throw the coil away.

So why not just remove a wrap to fix it?

Where are you seeing this?

If I set the coil resistance

The coil resistance is what is read by the mod. You should not set it manually. After you figure out what you're gonna do, when the coil is back at an ambient temperature run Atomizer Analyzer and tell me how much fluctuation you see.
