5 V power source while heating?

Hello everybody,

I actually bought a DNA 250 Color. Now I would like to run a little fan or air pump or something like that while my coils are getting heated. I thought I can use the 5 V of the USB OTG for that. Is it possible to use this as a power source while heating or is there some kind of XOR dependency between the 'powerbank mode' and the 'heating mode'? Do I need to run the DNA in the 'powerbank mode' or can I just use the 5 V somewhere from the board? I recognized that there are several test points on the PCB where I can measure something like 4.9 and 5.1 V but I don't know how much current they can provide.

Thank you very much for your help!

The DNA 250C supports USB On-The-Go. An OTG adapter may be plugged into the Micro USB port on the device to charge any other device capable of charging via USB. By default OTG charging must be toggled on manually from the device. OTG charging can be configured to begin automatically using the Power Bank option in EScribe on the Display tab. OTG charging will not over-drain the DNA 250C.
