ArminF
Hello, could not find much detail about it. The PDF just states pre heat in TC mode on the DNA60. Would Preheat work on an Kanthal or NiChro Setup? thank you very much.
Wayneo
No. In 'DNA speak' you can only pre heat a TC material. But all is not lost. You can do a Boost Punch with any material in watts/wattage/power mode. It's a value from 1-11, which is a 1 second boost of the watts you've set. (effectively pre heating your coil)
ArminF
@Wayneo thank you for your reply. Thats what i was looking for. Was not sure if the 60 is offering the option.

I surmise that the datasheets once published don't get updated. Some mods with the 60 chip don't have USB natively so be aware of that.
ArminF
@Wayneo Got the chip and updated it right away. Also found the Punch mode for Wattage settings. The scale is from 1 to 11. Is this somehow percentage or watt which get added? And you might can answer me this. Am i able to reduce the profiles from 8 to 4? Disable the unused ones? thank you! It's been over a year since I did my testing and never used it, so I have forgotten all the constraints. But you can see them via Device Monitor.
