Snowpup
Hello all, so I'm having a weird issue. The mod is annoyingly failing to preheat properly with a new set of Panasonic NCR18650B batteries. These batteries were charged to full last night. Escribe is properly seeing the voltage at around 8.3V. The voltage only dips to around 5V when firing. How can I go about fixing this up?

I'd suggest something off the Mooch recommended list, along with buying from a reputable seller on his list if you can. That sag (black line) says they're old, or of very low amperage, among other things.
Snowpup
Hah, that bad huh? Was a highly reviewed listing on Amazon when I snagged these. *shrug*
Wayneo
Don't buy from Amazon or ebay if you can help it.
dwcraig1
These batteries are great batteries but only when used in an application where a 4 - 5 amp battery is required, flashlight, laptop pack ect. Roughly good for 15 watts per cell.
