Was the atty warm from use when you put it on the device and told it was new coil?

You might try building a new coil.... put it in a cool atty that hasn't just been used..... put on device and run Analyzer then fire....when asked select New Coil..... vape a bit.... what are your results???

This just could be that you are seeing Cold ohms from Atty Analyzer whereby when using atty analyzer it slightly warmed the atomizer giving the Cold ohms.  In use it reads live ohms thus the drop.... I had to dig up a Kanthal coil to see how it reacts as I seldom use Kanthal.  My Kanthal coils show the same thing....

Here is my screenshot using a DNA250C device with a pre-made coil head rated at 0.60 ohms........

Good.... yep the longer you run the analyzer the numbers will climb because the analyzer slightly heats the atty....  glad we got to the bottom of your concern...

Replay does not work with Kanthal nor does Kanthal work in Temperature Control mode.  To use Replay you need to use a wire material that can be used in Temp Control mode.....such as Nickel 200, SS 316, SS 316L, Titanium, and etc.....
