iambyrdman
I'm to the point in my build all electrical connections are made so I hooked it up to escribe to take a look and upload my theme. It was plugged in for over an hour while I was doing other stuff but the battery still showed 0% charge so I took the battery to the charger. But the charger is giving me an error of low charge and/or balance error. I know there's an easy fix, just don't recall. Hope you can remind me please... The battery is Turnigy Graphene 2200mAh 4S from HobbyKing
iambyrdman
I kept it plugged in overnight to wake up to 0 charge. You guys are usually faster to reply. I hope you're all out having Fun!
dwcraig1
First, what does eScribe show for cell voltage? Perhaps your looking for "USB Recovery Charge" It's in EScribe/ Tools/ Diagnostics/ Perform USB Recovery Charge. It's a slow process and may need restarted a few times. iambyrdman
Both the battery screen on device and escribe show 0 for all 4 cells. USB voltage shows 5.something when plugged into the computer. I even picked alow USB charging in device management, no change
iambyrdman
Here is Mod/Battery settings....
dwcraig1
Take a good look at the balance plug, use a meter and measure voltage on each cell. If say the balance (JST) was unplugged that is what it would show....not saying it's unplugged.....
iambyrdman
It's plugged in. Solder points look good too. I hooked it up to the B6AC charger and get "Battery Vol Err Cell Connect"
iambyrdman
I hooked up another (small) batter and get voltage for individual batteries.
iambyrdman
So it looks like the fix was to change the battery type so it would take some amount of charge. Then change it back to Li-Po and balance charge has started. That was and hour ago and it says it's taken 1700 so far. Looking good. We'll see when it goes back on the device. Clock was fixed by leaving it unplugged and using a good battery.
